Luxurious Victorian 4 bedroom property with hot tub and sauna

Park Terrace is a truly stunning four-bedroom detached Victorian sandstone villa situated overlooking Stirling’s King’s Park. Dating back to circa 1850, 33 Park Terrace has been extensively refurbished and modernised yet retains a wealth of original period features.

Situated in extensive garden grounds this property, with its Hot Tub, self-contained sauna with shower and changing area and separate bar area, is the perfect property for families, adult groups, small weddings and other special occasions such as a special birthday.

With ample Living and Dining space this property can comfortably sleep up to 8 adults. The Master King size bedroom features ensuite facilities with a further three large bedrooms sharing the use of a large family bathroom with roll top bath tub and separate large shower cubicle. All bedrooms have flat screen TVs and the entire house is wired for use of Sonos.

A fully fitted modern kitchen with double microwave, full size fridge freezer, washer/dryer and large 5 ring gas hob with electric double oven serves as the perfect central point for any celebration.

A further three public rooms: Dining Room with seating for 8 people, large lounge and separate sitting/family TV room overlooking the garden, will complement any large family group’s needs.

33 Park Terrace has a calm, quiet feel, but yet it is only five minutes from Stirling town centre, within 45 minutes of the amenities of both Glasgow and Edinburgh, and also less than an hour from both Perth and Dundee. It is ideal for those seeking peace and quiet, but also for those wanting to be within striking distance of adventurous activities and entertainment.

For golf lovers Park Terrace is adjacent to the fourth hole of Stirling Golf Club which happily accepts visiting Golfers. Gleneagles is a short 20 minute drive away with St Andrews, home to The Open 2015 in July, only being an hour’s drive from the house.

With the Trossachs and Loch Lomond National Park both being only a short drive away you will not be disappointed by the wealth of beautiful scenery in the area.

Weekend stay for wedding

We hired this property for relatives to stay prior to and after my daughter's wedding.

We held the post wedding party BBQ on the Sunday in the magnificent garden and had the most magical afternoon . all the guests were in awe of both the house and the grounds and many have said they will be looking to book a return visit in the future.

Perfect Hen weekend getaway!

I booked this house really last minute for my best friend's hen weekend due to another property I had booked falling through... The house turned out to be so amazing I can't imagine the weekend taking place anywhere else. I could have literally planned nothing for the whole weekend and the girls would have still had an absolutely amazing time. They were totally blown away when they first arrived. The house was clean, spacious and fully equipped with everything we needed. The garden and hot tub made it though and we spent so much of our time out there in the sun! The only negative was that there wasn't clear directions on how to work the Sonos music system. We figured out roughly how to use it, but not to it's full potential. We weren't able to link up Spotify to it which affected some of the stuff I had planned for the Saturday night, however this was a minor hiccup and we just used music from ITunes instead. Fabulous time overall with one very happy Bride to be by the end of it all! Will definitely recommend the house to friends and family. Thanks again!

Beautiful property, excellent location, very, very comfortable. We enjoyed the Kings park with it's stunning views to Stirling castle, the kids enjoyed the huge play area too.

Decorated nicely for the holidays, which with four children this was greatly appreciated.

We travelled from Australia to visit with family, and as our long haul trip took on many changes, the owner and staff were respectful in working with us, this too was very much appreciated.

The hot tub was a real treat on a very cold winters night.

Exceptionally good and one of its kind, first class! Can’t fault our stay at Park Terrace and this in part was due to Kirsteen and her staff at Stirling Self Catering. Fantastic family weekend

Thank you to Tony and Kirsteen for making our weekend a wonderful one.

The house and garden are beautiful and Shirling old town a delight.

Everyone in our group of 8 adults and 2 children loved staying at Park terrace.

House was well equipped, lots of rooms to enjoy , including bar, sauna and hot tub

would love to return and explore more.

Park Terrace is located in the leafy and prestigious area of Kings Park, in the very heart of Stirling City centre; a five minute walk to all the attractions within the historic City: The magnificent Castle and rich Scottish heritage centre and the Tolbooth. The historical Bannockburn Heritage Centre is only a 20 minute walk from the city centre. There is a good selection of pubs and restaurants in the area. Wallace's Monument is a 5 minute drive; on the way, stop off and visit the Old Stirling Bridge.

The surrounding countryside is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts: walking, cycling and paragliding are all on offer on the nearby Ochil Hills. Slightly further away are The Trossachs, Callander, Loch Lomond National Park, Glasgow and Edinburgh providing, therefore, the ideal central touring base for your holiday.

Golf being available at every turn: Kings Park's own course and at least another five within Falkirk district, a 15 minute drive away. Slightly further afield are the world famous Gleneagles and St Andrew's Old Course.
