Spacious 2 Bed Apartment With Ac Close To Beach And Old Town

This attractive and airy apartment is conveniently located within a couple of minutes walk to the sandy beaches and the Old Town of Antibes.

The property which has mainly laminated flooring includes two double bedrooms and a spacious lounge with a wall mounted flat screen TV which receives English tv and radio channels. An L-shape sofa comfortably seats six adults. A good size dining table with four chairs is positioned in the dining area. The well equipped open plan kitchen includes a cooker, hob, grill, cooker hood, microwave and a large fridge/freezer.

The two bedrooms (which are at opposite ends of the apartment) are provided with one large double bed, one double bed, bedside tables, shelving and lighting. Floor to ceiling wardrobes are fitted in the master bedroom together with a set of extra drawers. The second bedroom includes a set of drawers and a hanging rail. A further wardrobe is available in the hall.

There is a full size bath with a top quality overhead dual shower and a vanity unit with a wash basin and an integrated washing machine in the bathroom.

The W.C. with a wash basin and vanity unit are housed in a separate room adjacent to the bathroom.

There are two separate terraces - one accessed from the lounge and the master bedroom, the other accessed from the dining area and second bedroom. These run virtually the length of the apartment, one of which is south facing and overlooks a small quiet garden area. A table and chairs are provided on both terraces.

For additional comfort, an effective air conditioning unit is installed in the lounge and master bedroom. The apartment also benefits from good quality and effective double glazed units.

A great hidden gem in a very good location

The apartment was found to be exactly how it was detailed on the web page. The inside was very light and airy, and having 2 aspects ensured good daylight throughout the day. The bedrooms were very clean and tidy, with plenty of hanging space, with the master bedroom benefiting from a/c . Bathroom was spacious and functional, and the shower pressure was very good. Kitchen area is well appointed with all required functionality available. The lounge area afforded comfortable seating, and a well subscribed tv / satellite box allowed for good viewing when needed. A/c was available in this area.

The balcony area was a great space for breakfast, and a sundowner or two. There is some noise from the road with vehicles passing while out on the balcony, however with a few well placed 'tunes' playing in the background this doesn't really detract from the overall ambiance.

The apartment location itself is only 1 street back from the waterfront, which affords great views of the Mediterranean Sea, plus access to the local beaches (which are very clean). The walk to the Old Town is only 5 mins away, walking along the Ramparts, where there are is a myriad of bars and restaurants available, plus many local shops. The walk to the marina area is very pleasant too, where you can view the many yachts and superyachts moored.

Antibes town centre area, again only 5 mins from the apartment, has all the required shops to support self catering during the visit.

The train and bus stations are only 15 mins away, so access to other parts of the Cote d'Azur is vert achievable too.

Overall, a great hidden gem of an apartment in a very good position, giving great access to all that Antibes has to offer, and at a great price.

comfortable apartment, but...

We enjoyed our holiday in this comfortable apartment though it has to be said that it is on a busy street with considerable traffic noise so sitting outside is not very relaxing. Good for people watching though! There is good soundproofing in the main bedroom though. Our dealings with Sarah were very positive and she was very attentive to all of our emails and was very easy to deal with . Our problem is with HomeAway. We returned from our holiday over two months ago and have yet to see our damage deposit. If it wasn't for this point we would be giving this property a fourth star. Sorry.

If only we had been alerted to this problem earlier we would have been able help. Home from Home for Winter in the sun

After visiting Antibes for holidays over the last twenty years, we were lucky enough to be able to stay in this very comfortable apartment for five months this Winter. The apartment was well equipped and was within three minutes' walking distance of the Old Town of Antibes and even nearer to the beaches. We had everything we needed there. We spent most days walking to different areas or travelling by train - no need to have a car here. Best of all though was the professional and friendly service offered by Sarah and Lorna. We felt as though they were looking after us, as well as ensuring that the property was well-managed for their clients. We will certainly be booking with them again for our next stay in Antibes. Very highly recommended.

Brilliant apartment in Antibes fantastic stay

The apartment in Antibes is absolutely fantastic and really quite spacious and spotless. Facilities in apartment tv dvd internet broadband are excellent. Other simple things like mats chairs and sun umbrella made it even better and so convenient not having to buy extras for the beach which is so handy and never over crowded busy but always space. Our stay was fantastic and Sarah and Lorna made it so easy advice guidance transfers all sorted no fuss and so kind. We have stayed in many apartments over the years and this was so comfortable. Will definately return loved Antibes and old town is just lovely. I could much more and told Sarah and Lorna that we thought the pictures of the apartment dont do it justice just fantastic. Many thanks to you both and to Alex our very friendly and relaible taxi transfer.
