Beautiful setting with views all around. New owners, but the cottage was very clean and they were on hand with any information we wanted about the area. We found it very relaxing, but there is a lot to see and do in that part of North Wales. We enjoyed Conwy and there is ample parking in the town. Yes, I would recommend this holiday to a friend.
We arrived just as the new owners themselves were moving in. They were extremely hospitable and helpful despite the pressures on themselves in just moving.
However, the downstairs was tired, suggesting the previous owners had decided not to invest anything before their departure. The kitchen units needed attention and some utensils looked worn out, particularly the cutlery.
The downstairs toilet/washroom needed better lighting while some parts of decor looked like retrievals from a car boot sale!
The website also claimed the cottage had internet. For us, access to 3G is not the same as full internet access, and this claim should be amended
However, the upstairs bedrooms were fine. Clean and comfortable
Despite this would still recommend the cottage as we feel sure that the new owners will improve things.
This was a great break in a lovely setting. Great little property was comfortable and well equipped the only down points for use would be The kitchen units are well used and need some attention (door's badly fitting & fridge hard to close ) and that for us it would be a lot more useful to have a dishwasher instead of a washer dryer ( which we never used ). Only sore the owner once on te day we were leaving but as we did not need them this was fine they were around if we had needed them but they just left us to it which was great.
Lovely peaceful location, a great cottage with everything you need included. Hosts very welcoming and friendly and we would definitely stay again. Always such a plus when your dog is allowed too.
Local pub is good for food and the overall location is great for the avid walker.
The only thing we would have liked is wifi.
Very homely cottage with lovely owners on hand if/when you need them.
Ye Old Bull' pub 700m away was good for food and the location is ideal for avid hill walkers. Thoroughly enjoyed our week, your own place to park and we would definitely stay again at 'The Granary'.
A lovely cottage, big enough for my husband and our young daughter. The surroundings and view were amazing, with sheep, ducks, birds and squirrels all visible from the cottage. Good facilities and friendly owner with loads to do in the local area, we loved it.
