Excellent Cottage in great location.

Tyddyn Mawr cottage was a beautiful, well appointed cottage. It was clean and comfortable with all the home comforts. Wifi was excellent. A perfect location for visiting the stunning area surrounding it and we had a fantastic week here, helped by lovely weather. The hosts were very helpful & friendly too.

Beautifully appointed cottage, great grounds which guests can use.

  • 5 of 5

Beautifully appointed cottage, tastefully decorated with a good use of space. The owners have thought about most things and it is great to see that they are continually investing. The downstairs if open plan, with the upstairs divided off one bedroom to the left of the stair case and one to the right. Both have ensuite bathrooms with showers over the baths. Everything upstairs is in the eves of the house, so if you were really tall you would need to bend down, especially in the bathrooms. The beds are also under the eves, but it all actually works really well. We took our dog. The front courtyard is enclosed well for a small dog, and if the weather had been warmer it would be a lovely place to sit. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained.

The house is only 10 minutes from Porthmadoc, so great if you want to use the railways there. We will definitely be going back.

Hidden Gem

Had a fantastic 4 days in the Garden Cottage, peaceful and quiet in a totally relaxing environment. The cottage was immaculately clean and home from home. The surrounding gardens and lake were beautiful. The owners were very polite and lived in the cottage next door but they were never intrusive and respected your privacy. We would love to return again next year.

Absolutely loved it! It was so cute!

  • 5 of 5

Me and 3 friends stayed here for a long weekend and we really really loved it! It was cute and stylish and posh and comfy! It's in a lovely area; we went for a row on the rowing boat one morning which was great, we had a BBQ out front using the BBQ provided and we used the out house to relax in! Would definitely come back again, we were sad to have to leave!

Me and 3 friends stayed here for a long weekend and it was just perfect! We were just sad we only had it for the weekend! The area is beautiful, lake a couple of minutes behind the house and we went for a row using the rowing boat. Had a BBQ out the front one night on the BBQ. Would definitely come
