|Minimum Stay||3 - 7 nights|
The Piggery is a located in the Snowdonia National park amidst the beautiful surroundings of Conwy valley. This converted farm building has been given a new lease of life as a fantastic holiday cottage. It is both comfortable and quirky in its layout with a double bedroom mezzanine and open galleried sitting room. The style is comfortable and leaning toward contemporary. Sumptuous soft furnishings and comfy beds ensure that guests will thoroughly enjoy their stay here in comfort and style. The views from the house are far reaching across the valley and beyond.
The Piggery is blessed with being in a great location. Guests who don't wish to stray too far from the house can wonder around the 33 acres of the owners land. Here there is woodland, meadows and ponds to explore as well as an abundance of wildlife to observe and plenty of places to have a picnic or sit and read a book. Ye Olde Bull's Inn, a welcoming pub that does food is walking distance from the house just across the fields and down the road. Both the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Conwy and Bodnant Gardens are within 10 mins drive and Betws y Coed (‘The Gateway to Snowdonia') is close by too. For foodies there is the Bodnant Welsh Food center which is a haven for fine food and drink, much of which is sourced locally. The coast and the seaside resort of Llandudnno is just 20 minutes away too so its easy to see why this part of the Conwy I such a popular location for those visitors looking for a quiet place to stay but be within easy reach of all amenities in the area.

We had a super week.The Piggery is a wonderful place to stay, and it felt like a little bit of luxury! The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need and are extremely welcoming and friendly. The location is stunning, and there is so many fun things to do within a close proximity.
We had a great week staying at the piggery. Would recommend to families; lots of space for children to play; sheep to make friends with. Quiet; lovely views, central location to explore area, house clean with all you need, no wi fi ( which suited us; you need to drive to Conwy for decent signal); highlights; bounce below; Llandudno; Conwy for town wall, crabbing and cream tea; pancake house and walking Snowdon; and lots more!
Nice quirky property in an excellent location to explore lots of great places. Very peaceful property, well equipped with a warm helpful welcome. Not far off a main route but not close enough to hear or see any traffic. Would stay again and recommend again.
The Piggery is a great property, clean, comfortable and in a superb location. Your only a 10 minute drive away for a great day out in Conwy or a beautiful walk in Betws-y-coed. Peaceful and quite, with great views towards the mountains and the only neighbours being spring lambs, ducks and rabbits. (by the end of the week the children had names for them all) Lyn and Arthur the owners have three great properties and made us most welcome. Highly recommend if you enjoy the great outdoors, loads of activities for the children just a short drive away.
The Piggery was immaculately clean when we arrived, with a well equipped kitchen, it has a TV and DVD player in the living room. The central heating and hot water was excellent. The beds are very comfortable with real quality bedding and curtains, I'm excited for anyone in need of some peace and quite who gets to stay here.
The owners are extremely welcoming, and friendly. There is a local village shop about a 20 - 25 minute walk away which came in handy, there is also a butchers, and a couple of pubs.
The first thing you'll notice is how quite it is, there is a nice picnic table with benches right outside the kitchen, you can see sheep in nearby fields.
I brought my own wifi hub with me and was able to get a faint but usable signal by positioning it on the kitchen windowsill facing the field (leaving the hub plugged in seamed to help the signal), wifi to this area is expected to improve by 2020, hopefully sooner.
The Piggery is a charming property in a stunning location. The road up to the property is steep and narrow, but don't let that put you off as once you are there the views are fabulous! It is very well equipped and the owners are very friendly and welcoming. The only thing is there is no Internet for laptops, but mobile phones seem to be fine. There is free wi-fi in Conwy which is a 10 minute drive away. Conwy is a lovely walled town with an ancient castle. The Piggery is also ideally situated for exploring Snowdonia National Park. Would definitely stay there again.
