The Little Coach house makes up part of a sensational group of cottages where the owners have tried (and succeeded) in creating a fabulous place to spend a holiday. The cottage follows the same kind of style as its big brothers, The Honey Pot and Tyddyn Mawr Cottage and follows an ostentatious French style called ‘Louis'. It is difficult to capture in words the feeling you get when you arrive at Tyddyn Mawr, the gardens are so well maintained and serene, with little walkways to take you down to the lake, little sitting areas to pause at and relax, it is a feeling of relaxation which is rare to come by these days.
There is a farm shop walking distance from The Little Coach House and in there you can be all sorts of seasonal goodies. There is plenty to do in the surrounding areas with Porthmadog a busy market town within easy reach, as well as the coastal town of Criccieth. This certainly an area of natural beauty and with Snowdon so close why not try to get to the top (walking or train!).
Bedrooms: Double with bathroom ensuite.
Bathrooms: WC, Basin and Bath with shower over.
Kitchen: Fitted Kitchen with Electric Oven and hob, Fridge/freezer, microwave, Dishwasher and washing machine.
Sitting Room: Comfy seating for all guests, TV, DVD and a feature fireplace.

Garden: Gorgeous gardens in 12 acres of land which is shared with other guests. There is a private patio area through French doors in the sitting room.
Heating: The house has underfloor heating and electric heaters
Parking: There is plenty of off road parking in a private parking area close to the house.
We stayed here as we were climbing Mount Snowdon over the weekend. The location is great. The cottage is securely tucked away but also close to amenities; Snowdonia National Park, shops, restaurants etc.
The cottage itself is beautiful. Tastefully decorated and the owners have thought about everything right down to all of the utensils in the kitchen and the dolce gusto coffee machine which we have at home. So it was like going from home to home!
Everyone in Wales were extremely friendly and the owners are lovely. Would highly recommend staying here and we'll definitely be returning :)
Excellent welcome, wine and shortbread on arrival with a tour of the property. Property was clean and tidy and really well thought out. Everything you need is there. Great location for walks, everything is within a short drive. Can't fault it.
The little coach was beautiful, and the surroundings, I could live there myself, the owners are very nice and friendly, on are arrival they left a bottle of wine and welsh cakes, my dog barney enjoyed his stay and liked walking around the lake every morning, can't wait to go back.
Spotlessly clean, very attractive furnishings, car parking adjacent, pleasant patio area to sit in.
Instruction manuals for appliances would have been helpful; two were provided on request.
We loved our stay at the Little Coach House, we arrived to some welsh cakes and a bottle of champagne which was lovely. The cottage and grounds are as beautiful as they look on the photographs. The cottage is so well equipped, and immaculate. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. It was my 21st birthday while we stayed at the cottage and they got me a candle and a card, which was very thoughtful! It’s in a great location to explore the North of Wales, and there are some beautiful walks nearby which we will have to do next time providing the weather is better! We would definitely recommend.
Stayed here for a week at the end of August...the location is stunning and even more beautiful than the pictures!
The Little Coach House is decorated to a really high standard and has everything that you can ask for and more - coffee machines, dish washer, washing machine, barbecue, tv and DVD player.
The gardens are maintained to a high standard and the walk round the private lake is a everything you could wish for for a quiet amble round.
So peaceful and tranquil. Yet a ten minute drive to Portmadog with a couple of pubs just up the round - a 4 minute drive.
Took my dog Barney who was made to as welcome as we were.
I can't recommend this highly enough! It exceeded expectations on every level.
