Set in idyllic rural surroundings, The Stables is a stone-fronted semi-detached cottage on one level. The owners have completely renovated this historic outbuilding into a stylish, luxury cottage and the accommodation has recently been graded as the 4 star, 'very best standard'. Each bedroom is en-suite and has its own TV. At the heart of the cottage is an open-plan kitchen dining and sitting area, while outside there is a large patio area with BBQ.
The Stables sits within Talli Ho, a 20 acre small-holding with a small camp site, the facilities of which are available to cottage guests. The owners have made every effort to ensure guests feel welcome and the facilities here are very good, with plenty to keep families with children entertained; including ponies, a play area with sand pit, and a communal camp fire. Fresh eggs are available to buy from the farmhouse and there is a laundry service if you'd rather let someone else do the hard work. The Stables can be hired together with Hunter's Lodge to accommodate a large group travelling together.
There's plenty to see and do beyond the gates of Talli Ho: nearby, you'll find Newborough's beautiful beach and forest, and Llanddwyn, the romantic island home of St Dwynwen – the Welsh St Valentine. Just a short drive away is the coastal village of Rhosneigr which is great for watersports, particularly kitesurfing. The elegant seaside town of Beaumaris has a medieval castle and rows of charming Georgian villas overlooking the Menai Strait and Snowdonia mountains, while further along the coast is the picturesque village of Moelfre. For a spot of retail therapy the city of Bangor is just 25 minutes away.

An excellently presented property that provided us with all we required from our stay. Would recommend this property to others.
We loved Anglesey and The Stables is central for many wonderful beaches and Pili Palas and the Dingle and Asda at Llangefni. Our grandchildren enjoyed the campsite and other children to play with. It was quiet.
Unfortunately when we arrived it was necessary to do an unacceptable amount of cleaning, The basic supplies which we have come to expect in self catering cottages, were not there. ( Another trip to the shop)
We had problems with the dishwasher (so washed by hand) and fridge door ( you have to keep checking that it is closed properly). The washer drier was very good.
The velux windows can't be opened, so the main bedroom has no window to open at all. In the kitchen/ living area the glass door is the only window you can see outside from, or open for ventilation.
The washer drier was very good.
The children had a lovely time, and that was why we chose The Stables.
Even though small the cottage has everything you need.well designed. Very unusual for every bedroom to have its own ensuite.would be good for children because of the animals and play area. The owner was very friendly and helpful.
This property is great for families with plenty of space for the children and lots of animals to meet. The cottage itself was very well furnished and had lots of equipment to make for a perfect holiday. We enjoyed the fire pit outside which was perfect for the Halloween Stories. We received a very warm welcome from Ruth and the family did everything to make us welcome during our stay. We would recommend this property to friends.
It was a great holiday. The weather was very kind to us. My grandson loved the animals, but was sad when the little ponies were moved. He had me outside at 7 o'clock every morning wanting the see the horses. The cottage was lovely, warm and comfortable. We wish we could have stayed longer. Unfortunately with another grandchild on the way it will be too small for us to use next year. That is a real shame!
