Sleeps 5 - Two comfortable bedrooms, one kingsize and one single and bunk beds. Ideal for families. Spacious open plan living area includes log burner, leather sofas, large TV and DVD player. Wifi available. Dining area which seats 5. High quality, well equipped kitchen includes gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, washer dryer and fridge with freezer box. Bathroom with a large shower cubicle and thermostatic mixer shower. Oil-fired central heating and hot water throughout with the bonus of the log burner for extra warmth in the winter months. Electricity and fuel all included in the price.

The Scottish Highlands and West Coast of Scotland is an area of outstanding beauty offering something for everyone. There is a huge range of outdoor activities on offer from forest walks, cycling, fishing, horse riding, golf to sea kayaking, diving, skiing, white water rafting and mountain climbing. It also offers great history and mythology. Visit Loch Ness, climb Ben Nevis, walk along unspoilt beaches with crystal clear waters, wonder at Glencoe, eat fish and chips in Oban, sail to remote islands, marvel at outstanding wildlife, ride on the Hogwarts Express or simply relax and take in the amazing atmosphere the mountains and lochs provide.

Duror, Appin. Is the ideal location to explore all the Scottish Highlands has to offer. Fort William and Oban are both approximately 40 mins drive away. 5 minutes drive to family friendly bar/restaurant on the edge of Loch Linnhe. 15 minutes to well stocked supermarket in Ballachulish. There are several coffee and craft shops. Cycling, Fishing, Golf, Watersports, Diving, Horse riding and Skiing are all on offer within a 20 minute drive. 10 minutes walk will take you to the beautiful Cuil Bay.

Lovely homely property.

We had a great 3 night stay at Ben View. After climbing Ben Nevis, it was great to come back to a nice cosy cottage, sit by the fire and relax. I will definitely be returning.

Lovely comfortable house in a beautiful location.

This house is perfect for a relaxing holiday. It was very clean with the most comfortable bed we have had on a holiday. The kitchen was well equipped and we liked the open plan accommodation. The wood burning stove was perfect for our February stay. Shower was very powerful too. Lovely garden in a beautiful setting with plenty of birds. Sustrans Cycle Route 78 runs behind the house. Plenty to do in this area. Hollytree Hotel at Kentallen (within walking distance) and Pier House Hotel at Port Appin are highly recommended for food or just coffee. Cuil Bay, Highland Titles Nature Reserve at Glencoe Wood and Glencoe Lochan are all nearby and worth visiting. No shortage of stunningly beautiful places to visit. Would recommend this to our family and friends.

Super cottage with everything you need

Modern yet cosy interior with a fabulous wood burner, amazing views to the rear where can watch the wildlife passing by and views of the Ben to the front where the deer roam. Stunning.

superb cottage with nice view

beautyful cottage. furniture and decoration in a nice and tasteful modern style. very comfortable, good showers and suuuperrrrclean. and it all looks like it is brandnew.

everything is there: games, books, fast wifi, big tv, all the needs for cooking and baking.

the view from the garden is stunning. the road before the house is quiet, not much traffic. and the house is well isolated too. we didn’t notice storm ‘ophelia’ passing.

Ben View has the added bonus of having direct access to the Sustrans Cycle Route 78, The Caledonia Way - Oban to Fort William. This is not only great for cyclists, but an ideal for families with young children or someone looking for a more gentle walk. As it offers well maintained path on a relatively flat route through the magnificent country side.
