This recently renovated 9 bedroom/9 bathroom 17th century manor house is set in a private 150 acre estate. It is an idyllic and tranquil hideaway - and with its charming private chapel accommodating 30 guests and superb function facilities seating 80 guests comfortably - also a marvellous wedding or event venue.
The interiors of the property have been tastefully renovated. The mixture of antique stone, original beamed ceilings and wooden floors together with the very finest fabrics for curtains and upholstery with the furniture and artwork being a mix of modern and antique Spanish pieces, create an elegant yet comfortable family home.
The ground floor, once used for wine and olive oil storage has been converted into the above mentioned function room with adjoining catering kitchen leading to the service kitchen upstairs. This level also hosts two generous double bedrooms, both with bath en-suite.
Four other beautifully decorated en-suite bedrooms, one of which is a twin, are located on the first floor, as well as the spacious main lounge with a large fireplace, comfortable sofas and doors to an open terrace with outside dining table and spectacular views of the countryside. The elegant indoor dining room also flows onto this ample terrace and beside the fully equipped kitchen with breakfast area, there is two further smaller informal lounges on this level.
From the kitchen a flight of stairs leads up to three more modern bedrooms all of which are twin and en-suite. This part of the house is ideal for teenagers or private staff.
The grounds are beautifully maintained and include olive groves and orchards, manicured lawns, extensive patio areas and a 14 x 5 metre fenced pool. Beside the pool and sunbathing terraces is a summer kitchen ideal for preparing lunch and a covered dining area together with several comfortable sofas.
