Skiing is even available in the winter. There are multiple activities available locally including canoeing, fishing (in the chateau lake), go-karting, flying, a wine museum and a cheese making facility. For the less energetic the region hosts several 2 and 3 star Michelin restaurants and many wine caves including many Cote du Rhone variants. The River Loire is 5km away and has all the activities you might expect. For the fly fisherman there are plenty of streams to try. For the rambler or cyclist there is the Route de Basalte (route of the volcanoes).
