This traditional home, built hundreds of years ago, has recently been renovated to a high standard. It retains many original Mallorquin features, yet provides modern comfort.
Located in the heart of the village, it enjoys both privacy and spectacular views of the village and mountains. In 2012, a plunge pool was added. Access is by foot, approximately 75 meters from the road where you can park (all guests will be given a parking permit). The fully equipped kitchen is unusual in that it has an indoor barbecue.
The living room/dining room has an open fireplace. On the next floor, there are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
Above this, is ‘the tower’, a large, airy room with 4 shuttered windows overlooking the mountains, and another king-size bed. The house is decorated with antiques and paintings.
The 2 terraces are designed for lounging and alfresco dining – all with breathtaking views.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms:
Bedroom 1 master bedroom with twin beds (or may be pushed together to make king).
Bedroom 2 with double bed.
Bedroom 3 with King Bed.
The en-suite bathroom to bedroom 1 has 2 sinks, separate wc and separate shower. The family bathroom has a bath with shower, sink and WC. Separate downstairs WC.
The kitchen is fully equipped. There is an indoor barbecue, a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, electric cooker, toaster, kettle, and coffee machine.
There is also a small antique table (made of olive wood) with 2 chairs.
In the utility room, there is a sink, a washing machine and a separate cloak room that includes a sink and wc.
In the living room, there is a sofa, 2 antique chairs, a games table, various games and puzzles, a TV for DVDs, a music system for CDs and cassettes, plus an assortment of DVDs and music tapes. The dining table sits 6 people, but can be extended.
Outdoors, there is a machine room, built into the hill, that houses the boiler and clothes dryer.
Linens and towels are changed weekly, but are for internal use only. The house is cleaned on a weekly basis.
