"Please love me like you used to"

The description of the area as stated is accurate. I felt safe and the road is extremely quiet and peaceful. As stated, at the end of the road there are many shops and a market each day. Towards Fulham Broadway there are some nice restaurants too.

The owner is a friendly nice man, but he is very busy. The flat is well designed and I can imagine was once a very trendy and an attractive place to live. It has potential to be so once again, but needs time and a little money spent on it.

If this flat could talk to it's owner it would say; "Please love me like you used to"

Re-reading the listing the discrepencies are as follows;

there was no sofa, only seating for 3 at the dining table and quality furnishings is not accurate in my opinion. There was no surround sound operational (speakers are evident in the walls) . There is a screen which works but the cinema projector could not be used initially as it needed a cable (delivered on day 11)

On arrival no one was waiting to meet me. The man who did come shortly after I rang the owner was friendly but spoke only Italian. He let me in but could not explain how anything worked.

My first impression was that the flat needed a good clean and the smell in the flat was far from being fresh. (I requested a hoover)

The TV was not wired up when I arrived. Once wired up it worked well. The back door would not lock on the first night. Once adjusted the next day it could be lock with a little force. The gas stopped working during the stay. Once the meter was reset by the owner it worked again. Twice the shower temperature control got jammed and was boiling hot. The kitchen ceiling does provide a lot of light as stated in the description, but also leaks badly when it rains heavily. The dishwasher does not stop once started. The motor to lift the floor to access the bath was broken. In order to access it I had to call the owner to manually lift the floor. So I was unable to use the bath regularly. However, the bath was very nice when I used it on the final 3 days of my stay. The jaccuzi works well but the surround to the bath is a little broken.

There is a lot of rubbish and building materials directly in front of the main window, best to keep the curtains closed. Initially there were a large number of flies around the front door.

Sound from flat above is very clearly audible.
