Hurstbourne cottage has recently been beautifully refurbished to provide superb luxury rural accommodation.
The property has been furnished and equipped to a high standard with oak floors, stunning open plan kitchen, dining room & lounge . It has a wonderful feeling of light and space. Its rural location makes it an idea place for those seeking a tranquil retreat.
Also with the popular Little Gloster (voted restaurant of the year for Hampshire & Isle Of Wight) within walking distance you can spend your evenings watching the sunset over The Solent whilst enjoying a glass of wine or fine dining.
For sailing regattas we provide a courtesy minibus to take you down to the marina & bring you back.
We arrived in Cowes on Saturday 9 July for 1 week to celebrate one of my sisters birthday. Graham met us in Tennyson Road and led us to Hurstbourne Cottage in Gurnard (Gurnard itself is a very quiet, relaxing village and is only a 5-10 minute car journey into West Cowes). He brought coffee & milk for us, gave us a guided tour of the house and changed the wifi from BT to a Huawei router. The cottage is immaculate & beautifully decorated. We had to call Graham to look at both showers as we couldn't get hot enough water. I got a text and a phone call to say problem was sorted as the child lock had been on. We also had to contact him as the Internet could not be accessed although the signal was excellent. The problem was easily resolved by purchasing extra GB. One of our party offered to pay for this as she needed it for her work, however graham would not hear of it. The cottage had been cleaned before we got there and the beds were very comfortable. All our party agreed that Graham went beyond what was expected of a letting agent. We will all definitely be back on the Isle of Wight and will use Graham/Cowes Holiday Homes again. Incredible value for money and I cannot recommend highly enough.
