This newly renovated smoke free single family centrally air-conditioned reverse living home is located in tranquil Holgate on LBI & is 2 houses to the guarded beach. The home features fenced yard, wi-fi, accommodations for 8 with a NEW master suite with a queen size bed, new private bath and cable TV & VCR, a cozy guest b/r with a queen size bed, small color TV and ocean view, & two additional b/r with two twin beds each. There is a NEW laundry room with full size w/d. The house offers two large fully furnished decks with loungers, tables, umbrellas, chairs & gas grill. The upper deck provides partial views of the ocean, Little Egg Inlet, the Atlantic City Skyline & the bay. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large refrigerator, dish washer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, pots, pans, silverware, etc. There are also ceiling fans throughout the house. The house is equipped with Wi-fi and a flat screen high def TV in the living room as well. The house is appointed with carpet, wood laminate and ceramic tile flooring throughout. House also offers an outdoor shower. Unfortunately, pets and smoking indoors are absolutely prohibited.

Comfort and proximity to the beach
My family and I just returned from a wonderful week at this fantastic beach house. We have been renting homes on LBI for a few years and this is by far the best house we have stayed in. We were extremely impressed by the cleanliness of the accommodations. The cleanest home we have ever stayed in. Michael, the owner, was accessible throughout the rental process and very pleasant to deal with. The bedrooms were much bigger than they appear in the pictures! The location cannot be beat. A few houses to the beach in a very desirable part of LBI. At first we weren't sure what it was going to be like all the way at the end of the island in Holgate, as we usually stay in a more central location. But, we honestly loved it. Hogate is quiet and relaxing, yet a very short ride to Fantasy Island, Bay Village, the Chicken or the Egg, water sports, boat rentals, mini-golf.....and the store down the street was a lifesaver. The perfect location! The perfect home! The perfect owner. Please give this one a try - highly recommend it! We can't wait to come back.
We really enjoyed this perfectly located home. It was bright and airy and comfortable enough for two small families. we especially enjoyed the deck and the outdoor shower and the short proximity to the beach was perfect. Owners were very helpful and our security deposit was returned promptly without our needed to ask (which has not always been my experience when renting). So thank you! next time we rent in LBI we will be sure to look you up!
We are still basking in the glow from our week in Holgate. We found the house in excellent condition and fully equipped for our needs including a well supplied kitchen. The house was perfect for our family of 8 giving everyone enough privacy. We especially enjoyed the large deck on the second floor and spent many evenings cooking on the BBQ and dining at the large table. Being the third house from the ocean gave us easy access to the beach and the water, a plus for all to come and go as desired. We hope to return.
We have vacationed on LBI for 36 years and this was our first experience with a rental by owner. Michael made himself available through the entire rental search, answering all questions. The home was as pictured: clean, comfortable, full of amenities, a perfect beach house. We were traveling with 2 families with 4 boys ages 2-8 and this home accommodated everyone. I especially loved the location. The ocean was a few short steps away and the bay was only a block, affording us easy access to both sunrises and sunsets.
The owner was available during our stay for any questions. They gave us personal notes about the island, including restaurants, bars and traffic tips. There was a brief power outage in the area and Michael was very helpful in navigating the issue.
I highly recommend this property. I will be back again for sure. It was one of our best stays in LBI in years.
This was a lovely, clean and well stocked home. Can't wait to rent it again. Location was perfect for a quick walk to the beach, bike rides into town and I highly recommend renting it every penny was well spent on this wonderful shore home. Owner was extremely helpful in all aspects and easy to work with. We enjoyed the quiet location yet always close enough to town to enjoy all activities. Home was also roomy enough that my family had privacy yet still all together.
The owner was very helpful and responsive to all our inquiries; instructions and terms were clear and thorough. Our security deposit was returned promptly. The home itself was comfortable for our family of 2 adults, 2 children, and 2 grandparents. The kitchen was spacious and well-stocked. We especially enjoyed the large deck area, the quiet location, and the short walk to the beautiful beach.
Without detailing our other impressions here, suffice it to say the house and amenities could use some refreshing; I'm sure the owners will take care of that at the end of the season.

In order to "lock in" your week, we must receive a 50% deposit along with the signed invoice and lease documents. Approx 3 weeks before your check-in date you will receive a final invoice reflecting the balanc due plus the refundable security deposit of $500 + a non-refundable cleaning fee of $125. This final payment MUST be in the form of bank certified funds. Security deposits are refunded
