Shops, restaurants, coffe houses, liquer store and banks are in a few minute walk. Reykjavik main shopping street is within 10 minute walk.

About Björn Valdimarsson

I am a graphic designer and have in recent years got more into renting apartments for travellers. I now have seven different apartments for rent in Reykjavik where I live with my wife and two children.

Why Björn Valdimarsson chose Laugardalur

I bought this property in the beginning to live in my self, which I did for a couple of years. This apartment is very well located in the city and has many luxury elements, granite table tops in the kitchen, floor heating through out, two fully tiled bathrooms, three very big bedrooms and one smaller. Double fridge with ice maker, wifi, flat screen TV and a balcony. There are two parking spaces in the garage with access to two lifts.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment is unusually spacious for an apartment in Reykjavik and there is easy access to all directions. There is a large swimming pool, fitness centre and park in the nearest neighbourhood.

Wonderful Property

Garage a big bonus in snow.

Amazing Place

Truly a lovely place to stay!

This apartment is spacious and clean and gets nice light, and has beautiful, modern kitchen and bathrooms, with handsome finishes, and we were very pleased with it. We especially enjoyed the radiant heat that keeps the floors warm, in addition to the air! This was a real treat. In the garage parking was a big plus, especially given the weather! Also being located just a few minutes from downtown was excellent. And the apartment was surprisingly quiet even though so near to other buildings. We didn't hear a peep from anywhere or anyone the whole time we were there. And that was very relaxing.

This property definitely deserves five stars.

The only thing that would have made it even better is if there happened to be items like Saran Wrap and/or tin foil, and or Ziplocs, and paper napkins in the kitchen, because we were packing our lunch to bring along each day... and if there were tissues in the bedrooms or bathrooms, and if there was a radio anywhere. I've had a VRBO house and I offered up all these things, just as a convenience to my guests. But that aside, we really enjoyed our stay and the place is beautiful. We highly recommend it. When we return we would definitely look to stay there again.

Great apartment, great location

The apartment was wonderful. It was very spacious and comfortable, we had 6 people and there was plenty of room, even 8 people would be very comfortable. The beds were great and everything was extremely clean. Location was perfect, easy to access everything. There were two parking spaces provided in a covered garage which was super convenient. It was easy to get the keys and Bjorn even allowed us in the unit earlier than the check-in time as it was ready. I would recommend this apartment to my friends/family and would stay here again.
