BEST rental condo, and the BEST BEACH in the USA!

The sand is soft and white. If you are a shell hunter, you will be disappointed, but you can walk the beach in your bare feet without needing sandals to avoid being cut. Also, the summer sun is hot but the white sand reflects most of the heat. If your other beach vacations have been on the Atlantic side of Florida, or in Georgia or the Carolinas, you are in for a real treat! No gray gravel beaches or murky water here.

San Remo is located on scenic Highway 30A, which runs through various towns on the beach between Destin and Panama City Beach. We prefer this area since there are no high-rises, crowds, or traffic jams. ( I consider 2 cars waiting at a stop sign as heavy traffic.) San Remo has 32 units, which is large enough to have a great pool, spa, and workout area, but small enough to maintain the peaceful feeling of this entire area.

The '30A' area has the best to offer in terms of the beach, scenery, and great restaurants of all types. San Remo has a complete complement of facilities without the crowds of Destin area properties. The view from the balcony is breathtaking! (Check out the Guest reviews!) Our unit has the highest quality interior and furnishings, professionally decorated in a 'coastal' theme. The kitchen and baths have been fully customized and upgraded from the standard unit.

Just now recovering from our beach trip and 2 graduations and wanted to touch base about your condo at San Remo. Thank you for leasing to us! We loved the condo and the location and the amenities. The weather and the beach and the condo were all that we needed for a great few days relaxing on 30a. San Remo is well cared for and a very pleasant place to stay. Your condo was spotless,alll works well like wifi and airconditioning,etc. We loved Stinkys,Vue, and 30a…Cafe Tango was ok but maybe not on their "game" the night we went. Your condo was so easy, great for walking and biking during the day. We rented our bikes from Buddy's (a block down as he was way less than LeDolce on sight).

Will call again when we are going to the beach, thanks for sharing.

Wonderful property and location!

We just checked out of San Remo 307 and can’t say enough great things! The property was spotless, well equipped, and the location can’t be beat. We walked to dinner and ice cream each night and enjoyed being right on the beach. Didn’t even need our car! We were sad to see our stay come to an end.

Great Accommodations - Wonderful spot for a getaway

Everything about our stay in San Remo 307 exceeded our expectations. The decor and furnishings were upscale and comfortable, including plenty of balcony seating for our large group plus friends. The kitchen supplies included everything you could want to cook and serve for a dozen or more, including wine glasses, beer mugs and plastic ware. Young and old had all they needed. The view of the sparkling Gulf waters and the short trip over the dunes to the beach were delightful and OH!, what a BEACH! .... gorgeous white sand and no crowds. The included beach chairs and umbrella were put to good use. Even in April, the pool was heated to a comfy 84F and the hot tub was very therapeutic.

If you get a chance to visit the 30A area, look for San Remo #307. You won't be disappointed.

Great location, inviting condo with comfortable accommodations

My parents, 2 daughters and myself spent the week at the San Remo for Spring Break 2018. This was my parents 2nd trip back to the San Remo, different condo. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked for us to cook when we wanted. The location near Gulf Shores is perfect for walking down and enjoying coffee, a drink or a great meal at several different restaurants (the Perfect Pig was a favorite). The view is still beautiful, but the large new property built along the front left portion of the beach, does obscure the view quite a bit in comparison to the original view pictures. Pool was heated perfectly and my kiddos loved swimming day and night. Was a little disappointed with the Managing Group - we were there for 6 days (as scheduled) and each bath was only equipped with 1 tp roll in addition to the small amount that was there when we checked in. When we inquired to please have additional supplied, was told that we needed to buy our own tp after what they supplied had run out. Was a trip to the store that we didn't really need to or want to take on our remaining 1.5 days, nonetheless was a necessity so ran out and bought it ourselves. A small inconvenience, however, felt worth noting. Love this stretch of 30A!

I am a little surprised at the 4 star rating based on everything positive you had to say. I do make a point to list everything that will be in the condo when I send out advance info. Paper and soap products are supplied to help you get through the first day or two until you can get to the store. We’ve never had any complaints. One note for reference, it is Gulf Place, not Gulf Shores, so others won’t be confused. We love it here on 30A also! Hope you can make it back soon!

We spent 8 days here and would have loved to have stayed longer. The condo, the view, pool, and beach were fantastic. No surprises. The owner provided lots of extra info in advance so we could enjoy our stay from the very beginning. We will be back!

Fabulous family getaway

My family of 4 stayed here for a great Thanksgiving getaway. The location of the condo is great! You can walk to rent bikes, to the ice cream shop or even pick up lunch or dinner. Condo had everything we needed and the beach is so close and just beautiful!! Owner was very gracious to send detailed emails with anything we would need to know about our stay. I know we will be back again!

FANTASTIC BEACH RENTAL

My family of 5 stayed in this condo for a week this July and it was wonderful. The condo is lovely. It is well maintained, clean, easy to live in. The kitchen had everything we could think to use. We didn't want for anything. The complex is relatively small - maybe 30 units? So, neither the pool nor the beach were ever crowded. The beach was probably 100 yards away and included beach umbrellas and chairs - SO CONVENIENT.

The only drawback of the condo is that there is a big house being built in front of the complex that may have reduced the view from the balcony a little. That said - you still get a GREAT view of the beach. (This is not a "beach view" that you have to stand at just the right angle and lean forward to see... this is a sit in your chair and see a wide expanse of waves kind of view. I just think it probably used to be even better.)

Tom was a great owner to work with. He sent a very informative email before we arrived. And was very responsive when I had a question mid-week. The rental company was great too.

I am pretty sure we'll visit San Remo 307 again. It was WONDERFUL!
