A beautiful house in a quiet setting bordered by trees, only 1.2 km from beaches and 1km from shops. It is 5km from St Raphael and within 45 minutes drive of both Cannes and St Tropez. The well maintained garden is enclosed, with a salt water pool (8.5 x 3.8m), boules court and a selection of comfortable loungers and chairs. A table tennis table is set up in the garage. The 2 shady terraces are ideal for outdoor eating. From the garden, 2 French windows open into a tastefully furnished lounge, which seats 7 comfortably, and has TV/DVD/video and CD player. The dining area has a wooden table and chairs seating 6. The fitted kitchen has an oven, 4 hobs, microwave and dishwasher and is well equipped. The utility room has a washing machine and dryer, and there is a ground floor toilet. Up a short flight of stairs, the double bedroom has an en suite shower room The 2 twin bedrooms share a bathroom with bath and overhead shower. There is also a separate toilet upstairs. All main rooms have shutters. Inside is light and welcoming.

We have spent great 2 weeks in June here.
The kids loved the swimming pool and going to the beautiful beach with only 5min drive from the house. The house is placed in very nice area which we have been exploring walking around in the evenings.
I had a pleasure to cycle a few times in the Saint Raphael region – great experience (what a view on the sea and nice hilly course)!
We definitely recommend it for holidays for family with children.
Very well equipped property that accomodated 6 of us with ease. The photographs do not do it justice. The pool was very popular as was the wi-fi. The owner and local agent were extremely friendly and helpful. There are many places to visit nearby and restaurants and beach are within walking distance although a car is much easier as it is a good walk to the coast and there are nicer beaches just a short drive away. Still, with a pool and a villa like this, some days we only ventured as far as the shop for fresh bread. Would definitely recommend.
We were new to the area and have fallen in love with it. The house is well situated to enjoy either the beach, the hills and scenery, the glamorous Cote d’Azur ‘experience (we visited St Tropez, Cannes and Nice) or just chilling at the villa by the pool. In fact you can have four holidays in one. The local towns are all great for local shopping or bars and restaurants.
The house is very well equipped. In fact it’s not like a ‘holiday home’ but a real home that you’ve been allowed to use. Whether you want a fantastically equipped kitchen (parmesan grater, salad spinner?!) or a comfortable and quiet bedroom to sleep in (bed side lights, window shutters) – you won’t be disappointed.
I would thoroughly recommend the house and its location. Can't wait to go again!
The house is beautiful, very well equipped. We found it perfect for our stay. There is nothing that should be changed or improved because everything is as it should be –perfect, well prepared swimming pool (warm, safe), beautiful flowers in small garden, rooms with its equipment, bathroom/toilet area and especially –full information for clients on Provence, (the books in the sitting room are complete encyclopedia of Provence). All was as we expected.
The house is very well located. Provence/Cote d’Azur and especially Frejus area are full of tourists in August –but it was not a problem for us because the house is located in quiet, peaceful villa area of St.Raphael, with nice view and with “on-foot” distance to everything we wanted to reach. We were in close distance to every location we wanted to reach –shops, (Leclerc, local town market) café, restaurants as well as roads (very good connection to Autoroute through northern part of St Raphael). Located at close neighbourhood to the beginning of “corniches” we have easy opportunity to reach further nice places like Agay, Le Dramont, and further Monaco, Antibes, Grasse, La Turbie, St. Tropez (we travelled via ship) or Thoronet Abbey. The house is not far distance (1 km) from the famous beach filmed in Bourvil's Le Corniaud. We found eating at terrace really pleasant, however we used some of local recommended restaurants. Local market in St.Raphael is like typical Provence small town market –what a nice experience to be there!
Especially I need to say all warm words about the agent -Pierre-Jean. He prepared the house very well –all was clean, ready for our visit, especially swimming pool (he checked the water few times during our stay, he was even cleaning it three times during one week –at the beginning, in three days and at the end!). He was very helpful in answering all our questions and ready to support us in every aspect of our stay. He was easy to reach. He even offered support in our local journeys as he lived in southern part of St. Tropez area. We found him as the great advantage of the house. Please note –Pierre and Ian (the owner of the house) are the real gentlemen with great sense of tact and politeness (they were ready to help, very supportive, but completely not forcing their presence on us, we valued his gentleness).
The house is clean, in great condition, with a spacious well equipped open plan living room/kitchen/diner opening through 2 sets of french windows to the shaded patio, and pool (which was great - the kids practically lived in it). The owners and manager were helpful and friendly.
There is no aircon, but this was not a big problem as the house is partly shaded by trees, and there were fans to use at night.
It is 10 mins walk down the hill to the local shops/market and restaurant, with the big Le Clerc supermarket a 5 minute drive the opposite direction.
The nearest beaches are also down the hill, near the local railway station and are very small and rocky but with some nice restaurants right by the sea. There are better beaches a few minutes drive further along the coast. Most of Saint Raphael/Boulouris is a bit of a modern sprawl, but clean and smart. The old town of Frejus on the other side of Saint Raphael on the other hand is lovely and well worth a visit.
Over all we had a great time, and are happy to have stayed here for a week.
Absolutely beautiful house a mere 10 minutes from the centre of town and the beach. We arrived on the train, so didn't have a car, but definitely didn't need one because of the proximity to the train station. We visited Monaco and Nice in the glorious sunshine, and just relaxed by the pool for a couple of days. We visited the local market and shops which are great, and had a gorgeous dinner on the sea front. Overall, a fantastic holiday in an amazing house!
The house is in a secluded setting in Boulouris, a seaside village adjoining Saint Raphael/Frejus. Boulouris has good local shops,train station and a market, with a large Leclerc supermarket 1.5km from the house. The nearest Boulouris beach is 10/15 minutes walk away (restaurants and beach cafe in season) with a number of small beaches along the coast. There are other beaches at Agay, St Raphael and Frejus. The house is about 5 minutes (5 km) by car from Saint Raphael, and is mid way between Cannes and Nice (reached via the spectacular Esterel coast road) in one direction and St Tropez (which can also be reached by ferry from St Raphael) in the other. The house is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful and unspoilt Esterel hills and is also convenient for inland Provence. It is 5 minutes drive from excellent golf courses. In short, it is a delightful and well equipped “away from it all” haven, but is also ideally situated for exploring the attractions of Provence and the Cote d'Azur.
Other Activities: Golf - there are two good courses within 10 minutes drive - the old course at Valescure and the new course at the Latitudes / Maeva hotel, diving, sailing, Marineland, Aqualand, Cloitre de la Cathedrale de Frejus

Arrival time is between 16.00 and 18.00 or by prior arrangement up to 20.00. Later arrivals between 20.00 and 22.00 incur a charge of €46. Arrivals outside these times only by agreement, with charges depending on time.
Our rates do not include changes in bed linen/towels, or cleaning, during a stay. These can be arranged locally, at €85 and €95 respectively.
