clean plenty of room all round, the owner is very obliging and helpful
Thanks Thomas. I would be pleased for you to stay again.
Beautiful location, ideal for families
The property was spotless and has everything you need to stay in a home from home, there were even some goodies in the fridge for our arrival. The property was cleaned and maintained pretty much on a day to day basis and nothing was too much trouble. The pool was an ample size for our three families and children of all ages were catered for with high chairs and stair gates and also a dvd player. You will need a car to travel to pretty much anywhere but due to the location and the view it was worth having to drive out to town. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay!
Beautiful villa for a Spanish getaway
We loved our stay at Casa Rosa.
From booking to arrival, all communication was great making it a stress free place to visit.
The villa itself is lovely with amazing views! It is very clean, well equipped and has plenty of room for a group. (There are so many personal extras too...basic food and drink in the fridge, inflatables for the pool, toiletries...) The pool is a great size and we spent most of our time outside (there is patio area, plenty of loungers and undercover seating by the barbeque).
Casa Rosa is a short walk from a lovely bar (we played pool on a couple of days and had a lovely meal in the evening.) Comares is only a short drive also and it is a lovely village to walk around and has more restaurants and a supermarket. It is close enough that it is easy to pop to for supplies yet you still feel that you are 'away from it all' at the villa.
I'd absolutely recommend booking. We loved our time! Thank you so much.
Well equipped and spotlessly clean house. Spacious and comfortable.
If you want secluded and private then this is perfect. Quiet and peaceful with stunning scenery. Worth getting up early for the sunrise over the mountains. The nearby village of Comares is a must see. However if you hate driving mountain roads and have any fear of heights then think twice about this area. The house is beautiful. Well equipped and very clean and everything you need for your holiday. It's about 25 minutes drive to get to the main road to anywhere so be prepared for that. Go once to a supermarket, stock up and stay put! We didn't go out at night at all because I hated driving those roads in the dark but we did venture up to Comares once for dinner one evening. All in all a beautiful place. Vicente was so helpful to us and on hand for anything we needed though we didn't feel the need to call him as everything was fine at the house. The herd of goats next door makes for an interesting wake up call with their bells tinkling. I missed my dogs at home so for me it was lovely to hear the local dogs calling to each other across the hills at sunrise. So, our impression was of a very well kept house with a lovely pool, would have loved if the pool was heated a bit, but it's end of September so maybe it wouldn't feel so cold at the height of summer. A great house for a group of friends or a large family gathering. I would recommend a fence or guard rail on the driveway up to the house, it takes a bit of getting used to.
Brilliant! Amazing views lovely friendly people!
Such a lovely stay and the villa is really very pretty in such a great location for incredible views! All the people in Los ventoros and comares were very friendly and helpful! Not too far from the beaches which have loads to do for entertainment. Roads a little scary if you're not good with heights but overall fantastic holiday and would definitely recommend!
The villa was beautiful, home from home. We arrived late in evening and were meet by Vicente within minutes of our phone call. So pleased to find the fridge stocked with supplies Pizza, eggs, beer, wine, bread, cheese and milk, so thoughtful he even supplied full fat milk and yogurts for our granddaughter. Others villas we have booked in the past have had nothing not even toilet paper, this had everything, shampoo, shower gel, even oil and salt. The pool was lovely and Vicente cleaned and serviced on a regular basis.
Brilliant stairgates and top and bottom of the marble stairs, fantastic as we did not have to worry about our 19month old granddaughter going up or down stairs.
Two lovely restaurants within 7mins walking distance and entertainment on some evenings. 2 further lovely restaurants a short drive away on the way to Comares. Torre de Mar is well worth a visit lovely beach with some of the best sunbeds we have every had, again lovely restaurants
The only thing that would have been better, is if we could have paid via credit card. Payment was requested via Bank Transfer, which all UK travel programs advise you not to do.
Comares offers a wide choice of natural outdoors activities, such as mountain climbing, horse riding and it has recently added more walking routes clearly marked and documented, for all ages and level of fitness.
The village local tour is well worth it, just follow the hand made ceramic foot tiles showing you the path to take...
The area is good to spot birds and flowers too.
Try the local cuisine , traditional, you won t be dissapointed!
