Newly re-furnished holiday chalet, comprises of 2 bedrooms 1 Double, 1 Bunk bed

A well-presented and newly re-furnished holiday chalet offering comfortable accommodation that comprises of two bedrooms (one double and one with bunk bed), an open plan lounge, kitchen and bathroom with shower over bath. Facilities include a HD television with DVD player and built in Freeview channels, cooker, microwave, refrigerator with freezer section, washing machine, kettle, toaster, hair dryer, electric wall heaters in every room, child bed guard and highchair. There is a free parking area located at the rear of the accommodation and a green lawn area, suitable for children to play on, at the front.

Sandown Bay Holiday Centre is situated on the site of Yaverland Battery. The peaceful location is ideal for a holiday, being situated on the south-eastern coastline, with views across Sandown Bay to one side and coastal national trust walks towards Culver Down on the other side. Sandown Zoo, Dinosaur Isle and Yaverland seafront are all just a short stroll away, as well as Yaverland playground and Browns Golf course. Sandown is also a perfect base from which to explore the rest of the beautiful Isle of Wight.

As a couple, we have been enjoying holidaying on the island for the last 20 years and have spent many happy holidays at Sandown Bay Holiday Centre. This year we decided to purchase our own chalet so that our own young family, as well as other holidaymakers, can continue to enjoy this lovely site.

Well equipped and cosy little chalet

The property was excellent value for money, very clean, well equipped and well situated as a base for visiting the island. If we return to the Isle of Wight, we would consider booking again. Few minute walk from the beach, short drive to dinosaur museum. The nearby town of Shanklin has an amazing fish and chip shop called The Happy Haddock.

We also visited Rosemary vineyard which was only a 20 min drive away, had dinner at a lovely pub in Ventnor called The Smugglers Inn.

Great property for exploring the Isle of Wight

A very well maintained and clean chalet, with a fun beach theme running through the property.

Owners are very helpful and respond quickly if you need to ask anything.

We found this an ideal base for exploring Shanklin, Ventnor, Bembridge and the whole east half of the Island (you could explore the whole island but we found so many little coves and other places to explore we stayed fairly local). The chalet is very child friendly with a large grass area to the front, there's also plenty of parking just behind it.

Would highly recommend this chalet.

Very clean and well equipped

Chalet inside is modern, nicely decorated, clean, and very well equipped.

If you have young children there is a good selection of toys/beach toys, bucket and spade etc available for them to use.

We found the owners to be easy to contact, friendly and very helpful and we'll definitely book with them again in the future. Highly recommend*****

A wonderful place to relax

We were 4 adults holidaying in a chalet for the first time.

We arrived and found a very clean, spacious and well presented chalet with all the amenities you would expect and more!

The owners had provided an information folder about island attractions and local takeaways and restaurants which helped us plan what to do on our visit to the island.

We visited early in the year when the weather was on the chilly and wet side but we were kept lovely and warm in the accommodation.

Some lovely cliff side walks and views of Yaverland beach with Sandown within walking distance.

We would definitely recommend this very well maintained, clean and well equipped property.

Lovely location and quiet place to stay.

The description was perfect of the property and the location was great. Property was clean and tidy and well maintained. The owner was very good when we had a query and responded straight away. We really enjoyed the location as it was quiet and we could walk to the beach. We also really enjoyed going to Bembridge beach, my children loved rock pooling there. Thank you again and I would recommend you to friends and family.

Lovely Holiday

Very impressed with our stay, the first thing we noticed was the kids bedroom fully kitted out with beach equipment and toys, it came in very useful indeed.

The chalet itself was very clean and well presented with a nice feel.

Ideal location for family's as just outside the chalet there is a large grass playing area where all of the children seemed to play. Within walking distance to the beech and the cliff walks are amwzing!

Have recommeneed to friends and would stay again. Thank You!
