Thanks to the thick walls of the building (1.8m!) the apartment is very cool in summer and warm in winter as well as very quiet. The main feature is the fact of being an open space on three levels with vaulted ceilings in bricks and terracotta floor. The apartment has the entrance in a garden in the city center. E 'ideal for couples and families with children. Nearby there are various restaurants and all major tourist attractions, Duomo, Teatro Nuovo, Teatro Romano.

About Alberto Zuccari
I'm 50 years old and I was born in the same building where the apartment is. I lived in this apartment with my wife and my two children for almost 15 years. I speak english well and if I could help you during your stay I'll be happy to do it.
Why Alberto Zuccari chose Spoleto
The apartment has always been in my family property. I restructured it in 1998 and I completely renovated it in 2014. Now I and my family moved in another building but I don't want to sell this wonderful house because I'm very attached to it, I rent it because other could enjoy staying there and to have the possibility to maintain it in a good status.

Great Spoleto experience
Albero’s Apartment was perfect for exploring this beautiful town. Centrally located, well appointed, spacious and fun to live in. Alberto and his family were very hospitable picking us up from the station, ensuring we knew how the various appliances operated as well as the location of bakeries, restaurants etc. He even took time to give us some local history over drinks in one of Spoletos lovely piazzas. All in all a lovely personalised experience for us.
In the heart of it all
The VRBO has a lot of character and well appointed in the historic district of Spoleto. We were able to walk to everything; the sights, the shops, and the restaurants.
The city has a great parking network which made it easy the deal with parking.
We stayed here for two months in the spring of 2018. The location in Spoleto is perfect for walking. Many morning and evenings we enjoyed the walk around the Roco. Their are hundreds of restaurants, coffee shops and bars to enjoy as well as some small grocery stores nearby. Out of the walled part of the city their are larger stores within walking distance and elevators to help you get back up. All the museums and historical sites are also close by.
We rented a car for some of our stay and parked for 5 euros a day at a parking lot and took the elevators back up. Very convient. My passion is road biking and the variety and amount accessible from Spoleto is fantastic. Their is a 50 km flat biking path or rides with 1000m climbs close by.
The apartment has a locked gate to a common yard. We stored are bikes in an alcove and had many drinks and snacks in the yard. The apartment is large and well set up. We cooked many of our meals in. We also had friends stay with us for a week at a time without any issues.
Alberto is a great host. Any issues with the apartment were dealt with immediately (such as a broken light switch). He picked us up at the train station and gave us lots of useful advice.
thank you for your nice words.
It has been really a pleasure to have you and your wife as guests!
I hope to see you again in the future :-)
We stayed here during our honeymoon. Alberto was a fantastic host. He picked us up from the train station our first day and dropped us off there on our last day. He gave us a short tour of the property and included some of its interesting history. He also provided us with restaurant information. The bed is comfortable, and the bathroom is very large. The shower has great water pressure, and there is a washing machine available. Even in the hot summer months, the space always remained cool and refreshing. My husband and I hope to come back and stay here again one day.
We stayed at this apartment for the month of April 2016. It is fantastic, spacious, comfortable with full kitchen-an artistic modern interpretation of a 500 years old home with terrific brick work inside and many reno's such as modern bathroom and kitchen, heating, good internet and a garden. The location is terrific as well, only 150m from the Duomo, close to all main Piazza's as well as the cushy staircase. This is somewhat of an anomaly as there are 3 in Spoleto which will take you up or down the hill. I found it very useful as I have a 5 month old "new" knee, so riding down and walking up was good for me. We found Spoleto a terrific town, just what we were looking for, an absolute labyrinth of narrow cobbled streets, very authentic Italian town. Not very much English spoken, but friendly people. Our host Alberto was terrific, helped us out whenever we asked and speaks English well. We highly recommend this property for couples or families as there is a second bedroom with 2 single beds. Very safe with lots to do.
We stayed in this wonderful Spoleto apartment for a month. The location was perfect - directly across from a wonderful restaurant and friendly chef Fabio - who is the truffle master! You can easily walk to everything, even the train station. If you don't want to walk, it is close to escalators that will take you up and down the hill.
Our host Alberto, was wonderful....he helped us with train logistics and picked us up from the train station. He showed us some great places that were off the beaten path.
Spoleto is a wonderful town - filled with history and sights. And when you want to visit other cities, the train takes you to north to Spello, Assisi, and Perugia and an hour south to Rome. We walked to the train station which was about a 15 minute walk.
Bars and restaurants are everywhere. Enjoy a pastry and espresso at Tebro and pizza at Silver Pizza that shouldn't be missed. Stroll through Market Square where there are numerous shops, bars and restaurants.
We highly recommend this town and apartment.
Spoleto is a wonderful medieval town rich of art and culture.

The apartment is located in the historical center of the town, in a range of 500m you have the big castle (we called "Fortress") with a promenade all around, you have the ancient roman theater, the market square, the roman house, the modern art museum, the Duomo church and simply crossing the Roman Aqueduct (a long bridge 80m tall) you may have a nice and relaxing walk in the ancient wood of Monte Luco.
Close to the house there are many bars and restaurants, I could suggest Tiber (really special) and Vincenzo as bar and Il Panciolle, The Tower and The Market as restaurants, but there are many other I could given if you like.
Near Spoleto there are many other wonderful places to visit, at about 30Km you can visit Assisi (very famous for Saint Francis), Spello, Montefalco, or you can go to the Marmore falls the highest waterfalls in Europe.
