Great location, just what we needed

  • 4 of 5

Tidy, clean and cozy place in a great location to explore in and around Inverness! We were able to spread out a little after lots of hotel living and get a little laundry done so we could travel home in clean clothes. Just what we needed!

Clean, modern and convenient.

  • 4 of 5

This apartment was just what we needed. Close to the town centre (about 10 mins walk).

The sitting room was dark and needed the lights on, as the one small window overlooked the wall of the neighbour. Not sure where the sun came from in the photo! but we were mostly only in during the evening so it didn't matter. The chairs were comfortable.

It provided us with what we wanted. No complaints.

Good location; quiet

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay in this quiet, Inverness neighborhood, away from the busy center. I was a little hesitant to book regarding the train tracks just outside but it was amazingly quiet! Our neighbor told us that most of the buildings along the track had been built for railroad workers and their families in the late 1800s and had walls 2-feet thick--no wonder it was peaceful. This apartment was no nonsense--had the basics as far as cooker, washing machine, iron, frig (no dishwasher but there was only 2 of us). We loved the recliners! It was so great to come back to the apartment and put our feet up (and occasionally nap). The wifi was overall reliable but I did have to unplug it a couple times during our week long stay to restart it--immediately responded. Loved the shower fixture--no adjusting the temperature just turn it on (remember to really shut the door tightly!) The only thing missing that my wife would have wanted was an indoor laundry drying rack. We were so lucky to have a couple days of dry weather to do the laundry and did appreciate being able to hang it outside in the fresh air (but we kept our fingers crossed!). There is a neighbor's dog that is outside (briefly) at 5pm that will bark if you go to the backyard--I think he looks more fierce than he really is! I cannot comment on the cooking utensils as we found ourselves eating out at some really great restaurants in the Inverness area. This was a nice apartment and conveniently located.

A nice place to stay

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment. It is easily accessed from the A9 which was a boon as we were using it as base for touring. It is nice and quiet. The recliner chair and settee are comfortable and were much appreciated after a day in the car. The bed was equally good. My wife and myself are both partially disabled and were very pleased with the large walk-in shower - myself in particular as I am a big man. The only slight drawback is parking, which was a problem one evening (the permit only applies 08.00 to 17.00) but a local gentleman, who kindly repositioned his car to make room, told us that it was unusually busy.

We would not hesitate to book again.
