Gîte "le grand bois" (6 people maximum) adjoining the gite "le petit bois" and the owner's house.
Cottage located in a very quiet hamlet in the town of Helfaut, 3 km from the A26 motorway, 7 km from Saint-Omer (its lively town center, its cathedral, the Audomarois Marsh listed by UNESCO, the house of the Marais, the dome of Helfaut at 3 km (war museum 39/45), the forest of Clairmarais.

We look forward to welcoming you to this brand new, fully equipped gîte and advising you on the many activities and good addresses possible.
Mountain bikes for adults and children are available and many hikes are possible from the cottage.
WIFI, private parking and enclosed grounds, garden with games for children, garden furniture, barbecue.

Rural house of 90 m², adjoining the cottage "le petit bois" and the owner's house, new and completely renovated, private parking, enclosed grounds, large shared garden with access to outdoor games (small wooden house, slide, swing) , garden furniture, barbecue.
It consists :
on the ground floor: a large entrance hall with separate wc, a fully equipped kitchen living room (induction hob, electric oven, fridge, dishwasher), in the lounge area 2 large sofas and an armchair, TV flat screen satellite decoder with foreign channels, 2 double bedrooms (140x190), a bathroom with double sink, 70x110 shower and washing machine.
Upstairs: a bedroom with 2 twin 80x200 beds.

Deposit 200 € to be paid on site.
Animal not allowed because authorized in the adjoining gîte "le petit bois".

Heating and electricity included up to
24 kwh / day: the excess will be invoiced.

weekend off season: Friday 5 p.m. to Sunday 11 a.m. (or Saturday 3 p.m. to Monday 10 a.m.)

Great for families

This is a wonderful living space, with a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely garden. The host was very helpful. For big family gatherings you can book the gite right next door. It has less living space but more than one bathroom.

Fantastic property!

We stayed here for a long weekend to visit the Blockhaus at Eperleques and La Coupole Museum, the property was amazing, lovely and clean, nicely furnished and Stan was a lovely host. I would definitely recommend and we will return as there is so much to do in the area.

Zeker een aanrader als je de buurt van St-Omer wilt verkennen. Ook niet ver gelegen van oa Boulogne-Sur-Mer en zeer vlotte baan om tot bij de kust te geraken. Uitbater is gastvrij en steeds behulpzaam bij eventueel probleem. Enig minpuntje is misschien de donkerte binnen in (weinig ramen) maar palletkachel geeft zeker een aangenaam gevoel in de wintermaanden. Adresje om te bewaren dus
