Beautiful, detached holiday home on the edge of a vineyard, 4 km from the famous wine village Châteauneuf-du-Pape and the village of Sorgues (1.5 km). The holiday home is luxurious and comfortably furnished. Here you'll want for nothing. The interior is very tasteful, and they used high-quality materials.
You find yourself here in the area of the river Sorgue, which flows between Mont-Ventoux, popular with cyclists, and the hills of the Lubéron. In this beautiful area you can take many day trips. From the wonderful city of Avignon (14 km) with papal palace, to picturesque villages like L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue (22 km) and Fontaine-de-Vaucluse (37 km), where the river Sorgue wells up. Rent a canoe and head towards the capital of flea markets, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, to enjoy a well-earned lunch on a terrace by the water.

Although the house is located in a good area, next to a vineyard, and the appliances are new, using the electric appliances was a problem. Anytime the stove was use circuit breakers would flip. Other times you would have to shut off the main lights in the family area by flipping its circuit breaker. In the house log book others visitors describe similar experiences. During my week stay, I had to flip circuit breakers at least 15 times.
Even more stressful, was upon arrival, the caretaker, who could not speak any English, demanded that the deposit be paid in Euros cash. Up to this point I had paid everything by credit card. The rental agreement did not state that the deposit had be paid in cash. We had been in Spain for 4 days and spend another 10 days in Italy after leaving France and all vendors used a hand-held credit card reader which could be use in U.S. dollars or Euros. When I told the caretaker that I did not have the deposit in cash she became very emotional with angry sounding statements and tears.
This occurred on a Saturday evening after the banks closed.
Luckily, between the three of us, we were able to withdraw enough Euros out of a local bank ATM ( the limit per day was 300 Euros per person).
All of this stress on arriving visitors was not necessary and reflexes badly on the listing agencies and the owner of the house, and set the stage for additional problems to come.

The house is very comfortable, is exactly as on the pictures and the reception is very friendly and professional. The only thing I regret is that you cannot really go anywhere by foot. In our case that was also due to the heat, which brings me to a great asset of this house good aircondition!
We hebben genoten van een heerlijke vakantie. Het huis voldeed helemaal aan de verwachtingen. Ruime keuken. Compleet inventaris. Ruime badkamer. Prima bedden. We werden hartelijk ontvangen. Het enige nadeel voor ons was dat de gastvrouw echt alleen frans sprak.
Binnen een straal van een uur met de auto had je zowel wat cultuur als wat natuur betreft allerlei mogelijkheden.
