Situated on the Alcaidesa Golf Course the appartment is only a minute walk to the 3 miles of Blue Flag beaches and is ideal for a golfing, pool or beach holiday.

The Master bedroom, with king sized bed, has its own terrace with a superb view to wake up to, and an ensuite bathroom equipped with a hydro massage Jacuzzi bath. In the second bedroom there are 2 single beds which can be joined to create another kingsize double. All beds have high quality mattresses. The leather sofabed easily converts into a third kingsize bed which is remarkably comfortable as it comes equipped with a quality topper. The Family bathroom is also equipped with a bath and enclosed shower. Additional features include a Samsung SMART (internet) TV (40"), UK Freeview & Sky Pack and free WiFi Internet access. This is our second home and we are always adding home comforts to this already high spec apartment. Equipped to very high standards including fully installed air conditioning system, domotics system, electric shutters in the bedrooms, climalit double glazing, fully fitted kitchens with Siemens electrodomestic appliances, laundry area with washing machine, fitted wardrobes and 24 hours security. All of this provides superb comfort and relaxation. The apartment is extremely spacious and has to be viewed to be believed!

Within easy reach of this unique location, there are a multitude of opportunities for relaxation, discovery and sport. Take a whale and dolphin watching trip or fish for tuna in the Straits of Gibraltar. The waters off the coast of Andalucia are home to a large population of whales and dolphins.

Or head west to the Atlantic coast and the old port town of Tarifa, where you will find an exciting mix of old and new. Lovely Apartment, lovely views on a nice complex

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. It was so nice to sit on the terrace with a coffee in the morning looking at the views of the sea. The apartment has everything we needed to ensure we enjoyed our stay, with the complex being extremely nice with its many pool areas and friendly staff.

A bonus was the TV package with the large choice of English channels including the sport ones so we did not miss the football !!.

Disappointment at reality of luxury apartment in Alcaidesa

This is NOT a luxury apartment. The lounge is nice and comfortable and the view amazing.

It was nice and clean.


The ELECTRICAL SUPPLY is insufficient. With 13 degree temps we had to use heating.

Cooking at the same time was not an option. The electricity tripped 5 times. it took 5 hours

to restore on the first occasion. We were both unwell and needed to self cater,

keep warm and use the internet.

MASTER BEDROOM the memory foam mattress was so worn we had to heave ourselves

out of a hole to turn over.

BATHROOMS (we need a bathroom each)

Shower screens were too narrow so we were constantly worried about flooding the bathroom.

We felt insecure having nothing to steady ourselves with while showering

Not enough towel rail space

Nowhere except under the basin (which smelt of drains) to put things in.

No hooks for clothes/dressing gowns.


LINENS + TOWELS The anticipated supply totally inadequate for two weeks. We

requested and received more. (It rained solidly for 8 days making drying difficult)


Elaine the managing agent was fantastic. Always there to help, she even came with

us to show us the way to Gibraltar hospital.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your review David and I'm very sorry you didn't have a good holiday. To take on some of the points that you've made, I feel that you've been very harsh. I've never had any complaints whatsoever so am very surprised. Firstly, if you've ever visited Spain previously, you'll be aware that the electricity supply can be temperamental even in new build apartments like mine, which is a high spec build. The memory foam mattresses are high spec with ten year warranties (They are two years old and used 20% of the year). As for shower screens and bathroom fitments with jacuzzi baths, these are specific sizes. Hand rails are not put up in brand new apartments. There is plenty of hooks behind doors and plenty of hangers in the wardrobes. You mentioned that linen and towels were insufficient due to it raining for 8 days, however more were provided by Elaine when you asked. Instruction manuals are left in a drawer in the kitchen, but have never been needed as all appliances are simple to use. Having spoken to Elaine who is my on-site agent, who you mentioned was fantastic as she went to the hospital with you on a few occasions, appeared very surprised by your comments as she expressed that it rained for most of your holiday and you were ill for most of the time. I'm really sorry you feel unhappy but I do feel you've been unfair due to the weather and your illness which unfortunately we have no control over, however appreciate your review.

Great Chill Out Place

We got what we went for...a complete chill out in a very nice apartment. Very few people around (11-18/9/16) and we had the beautiful pool to ourselves most days. Flew into Gibraltar so about a 20 minute drive to the resort. You DO need a car! We ate at the beach cafe/restaurant which was nice but the Thai restaurant, just outside the entrance to the resort, food was superb. TV was great to have for the evenings. Enjoyed eating out on the patio, view was so beautiful. Elaine was extremely helpful with the handover and on leaving.

Spotless apartment in a quiet residential area

The apartment is spotless with immaculate pools and gardens. The apartment comes with wifi, satellite TV and all kitchen appliances, the only negative was the bedding and towels. We stayed for 2 weeks but only had one set of bedding and 1 towel per person, although, there is a washing machine so I was able to change the beds, I would have liked a change of bedding and clean towels for the second week.

The 4 pools are all close to the apartment, and most of the time, very quiet, in the mornings we had the pool to ourselves and even in the evenings we were only sharing it with a handful of people. The pools are deep and there is no small pool, so I won't recommend it if your kids can't swim.

This area is VERY quiet, there is a small corner shop and 3 restaurants in the square but this is a 20 min uphill walk away. The beach is a 5/10 minute walk away but this beach has no amenities, if you want a toilet and a place to get a drink, it is a good 20 minute walk away. We found the area a good place to explore from but you need a car, even to get to a decent shop or a restaurant. La Finca is 3 km not 0.8km, it's a great restaurant but it's 40 minutes walk so you need to drive.

Very well kept apartment with a marvellous seeview.

Due to Elaine we felt at home immediately. She gave all the information we needed about the apartment (the airco, the shutters, the TV etc), parking (safely in the parkinglot beneath the apartments), the nearest supermarkets and the little shops in the park. We loved to play the two golfcourses, to walk to the beach which is very peaceful and to visit Gibraltar, which is very near.

Our holiday at this apartment was great ,all facilities were on the door step ,we made good use of the pool, and the beach , which was a stones throw away. would recommend this location to anyone, you need a car to explore ,

We have secure underground parking, 24hr gated security and a choice of four beautiful communal pools, surrounded by tropical gardens tended to by a full time gardener. Please ask for details on discounted golf course fees in Alcaidesa and on various Costa Del Sol courses. Discounted car hire has also been arranged for clients with a local firm at Malaga and Gibralter Airports.
