This property enjoys a glorious elevated location just outside the town of Westward Ho! known for its two-mile wide expanse of sandy beach which provides hours of entertainment for families and water sports enthusiasts alike. The beach is only a fifteen-minute walk away whilst the village of Northam with its shops takeaways and pub is just a five-minute walk from the property. For those who fancy a break from the sea and sand Northam Burrows Country Park which lies to the northern end of the beach offers a delightful place to enjoy quiet walks amongst the sand dunes and salt marshes which are rich with seaside wildlife. Just a few miles further afield the fishing villages of Appledore and Clovelly are delightful places to while away an afternoon whilst the harbour town of Bideford offers a range of interesting independent shops and well-regarded eateries. As soon as guests enter this attractive property they will immediately be able to relax and make themselves at home in the stylish and comfortable surroundings. The heart of the house is the spacious lounge/kitchen/diner where a large conservatory floods the space with sunlight. The contemporary open plan kitchen with its breakfast bar seating is well-equipped with everything that guests would expect from a property of this standard including an electric range oven hob combi microwave American-style fridge/freezer wine cooler dishwasher and washer/dryer. The dining table is located in the conservatory are and just next to the kitchen a corner sofa is positioned next to a cosy wood burner providing a space to relax. There are two additional lounges in the house so guests are able to spread out and enjoy some privacy should they so wish. The first of these has gas-effect electric fire TV/DVD and iPod dock whilst the second lounge doubles as a dedicated home-cinema with another Smart TV perfect for enjoying a film night! Also on the ground floor is a convenient cloakroom with WC. Upstairs there are four comfortable bedrooms: two king-size rooms one of which has an en-suite shower room with walk-in shower and WC and two twins room one with zip-and-link beds which can be made up as a king-size room on request and the other which has a single bed and additional pull-out bed. The beautifully styled bathroom offers a roll-top bath separate shower and WC. Outside there is a fantastic enclosed sea-view garden with lawns and three pretty terraces which have outdoor furniture and a BBQ. Tucked away in a quiet corner of the garden underneath an ornate pergola is the property s hot tub providing guests with a wonderful place to lie back and truly escape from the stresses of modern life. There is off-road parking for two cars and additional road-side parking in front of the house.
