WONDERFUL

We stayed in this apartment for 4 days in December. The apartment was spacious and very clean. The location was great - it was very close to the Metro; 20 minutes walk to Sagrada Familia, 15 minute walk to Gaudi's Casa Batlló, and less than a 10 minute walk to Casa Milà. Many supermarkets within 10 minutes. We had a wonderful stay!

Wonderful apartment!

We loved this apartment and we hope to go back to Barcelona and stay there again! The apartment was comfortable, the kitchen was just fine. The location was ideal. There were 4 of us staying and we had plenty of room and even enjoyed a night in, cooked a large meal and just enjoyed 'living' in Barcelona. I recommend this apartment to anyone (just please not on the days we want to come back!).

It was convenient to have a washer and dryer, a dishwasher and a large living room with a good sized table for eating together. Having 2 bathrooms was essential for 4 people and the owner was extremely nice.

Staying in this apartment will make your stay in Barcelona all the more special. Enjoy your time there!

Muy buen apartamento en el centro de Barcelona

Apartamento bien equipado y muy tranquilo. Es una tercera planta interior, por lo que hay mucho silencio, aunque tiene suficiente luz natural. Se encuentra en una zona inmejorable para hospedarse en Barcelona. Transportes públicos muy cercanos, aunque también es posible llegar andando a los lugares más típicos de la ciudad (Paseo de Gracia a sólo dos manzanas).

El anfitrión perfecto; es muy amable y da unas completas indicaciones sobre los puntos más interesantes de la zona.

There are better options

We've rented apartments before in Barcelona but overall I think we've had better experiences. My husband and I spent Thanksgiving week here with our two kids (22 and 23). We noticed an odor in the apartment but have to admit we were getting in late and leaving early every day so we didn't bring it up during our stay---probably not the best decision, of course! That said when we checked out Eloy mentioned he noticed the odor right away as well ( a little surprising he didn't also notice it when we all checked in together on the first day) and called a repair man the next day. Seems the toilet needed to have caulking applied to seal it! I'm no plumber but I do know that toilets seal through a special seal to the drain pipe and not around the outside edge of the toilet so I wonder if it has really been repaired after all.

We also didn't find the owners too responsive. The morning before our departure we texted a couple times and emailed about taxis, check out etc. It was only later that night we got an email reply---had all our answers but we felt a little uncertain for that day.

We also heard noises from other apartments surrounding the unit. We were a little surprised since other reviews of the unit seem to say it was quiet (something we were looking for in our choice). The overall location was good, walking distance to most sights, transportation, etc. But we know this area of BCN has many options to choose from and we've had much better choices in the past. You'll have to decide for yourself but as for us we'll pass on this one next time.

Owner's Response: We are extremely sorry for these inconveniences. Especially because it was an easy fix ... The smell was caused from a sudden movement of the water-closed, and it was fixed within 8 hours after you told us at check out. We wish you had let us known as soon as you noticed ! Please accept our apologies. We want our guests to be comfortable and we try to respond immediately to any request from our guests from the moment we get them.

Perfect!

Warm, clean, and spacious. Eloy was a wonderful host and met us outside. Very accomodating with our early arrival so that we can go and explore Barcelona. Recommended a great neighborhood restaurant nearby. The location is perfect - walking distance to all popular sites, and in a safe neighborhood where you can also get the local fares. We'll be back!

Great location, very cosy

We really enjoyed our stay!

The hosts were very helpful and everything was as expected.

We were really close to many touristic points so we managed to go to a lot of places.

Totally recommend it if you want to visit Barcelona anytime!
