Randview has been completed refurbished for 2015 and is situated at the end of a private road in Beltinge Village, just 3/4 mile from Herne Bay. At the top of Beltinge Cliff and on the coastal path the house sits in a plot of 3/4 of an acre offering seclusion and privacy. Sleeping 6 in 3 bedrooms and in receipt of the VE pet, family, walkers and cyclists welcome awards.Fabulous 180 degree sea views.

Why Cheryl Price chose Canterbury

Randview has been in my husband's family for over 20 years. Having had full time tenants for the last 21/2 years this year, we decided to refurbish it and start to enjoy it for ourselves. We have 3 dogs including a Great Dane and when we're away, we want to bring the dogs with us and be able to relax knowing that they are safe. We also take the view that when travelling with your dogs you shouldn't have to accept second best. We are extremely pleased with our 4* Gold Visit England Rating and proud to have also achieved the Family, Pets, Walkers and Cyclists Welcome awards.

What makes this bungalow unique

At anytime of the year it's the views which are simply breathtaking. Randview with the newly installed dual aspect log burner is fantastic year round and as it sleeps 6 can accommodate groups of friends or family with ease.

Brilliant week at Randview

Just returned from a fantastic stay at Randview. The bungalow and garden was perfect, fully equipped with everything you need and much more. The best ever welcome hamper we have ever had also one for the dogs too! The garden is secure for the dogs to be safe. Perfect location over looking the sea and we were lucky enough to have beautiful weather to go out and explore the Kent coastline and saw lots of lovely sunsets relaxing in the garden. A small problem with the tv aerial was dealt with immediately by the lovely owners, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Randview and we hope to return sometime.

Fabulous location and wonderful property

We had a lovely winter break at Rand View with my elderly mum and our 3 dogs. From the moment we arrived, we wanted for nothing except a wifi code which the housekeeper found for us within minutes. The location is perfect, with far reaching views of the sea, and dog walks just outside the door! The property was spotlessly clean and well equipped, including thoughtful items for the dogs and everyday basics including wine for us. Toiletries were available in the bathrooms, and we wanted for nothing. A Sainsburys delivery soon after arrival provided us with all we needed. For a gusty February half term, we found the property to be warm and cosy, although we lit the woodstove just to enjoy it! There was much to do in the local area, with lovely pubs in Herne {The Ship], and Broadstairs. We tend not to eat out often in the winter months because of the dogs, but numerous places were available. We also enjoyed a pint in the micro-pub in the village, and numerous trips to the Reculver Country park just to take in the view. I would return to this property, not only because of all its home comforts but also because Cheryl and Graham really cared about whether we were okay. Communication with them was excellent and we truly appreciated being able to travel with all the dogs, instead of leaving one behind which is often the case. The dogs slept in the utility, and there was room for everyone! I can think of no better place than to curl up in front of the fire, take in the view and enjoy a good book! The perfect break!!

Lovely home. Great views. Peaceful and relaxing.

This was our third visit to Randview. We love the views and the facilities. Cheryl and Graham have provided everything you need. We visited Dumpton Gap (Doggie Friendly beach) and enjoyed strolling round Petticoat Lane Emporium in Ramsgate. We loved having coffee at Mackaris on the sea front. Plus can recommend Dunns bakery and Shakey Shakey chip shop in the High St. We have already booked to return in 2018. Thank you Cheryl and Graham.

Excellent location

When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised how big the grounds were, lovely location. There were a few issue with cleanliness, the draws in the kitchen were quite dirty, there was a. Large cob web in one of the. Bedrooms, on my quilt it had a rip in the side, neither shower had much power so washing your hair took some time, considering the price for one weeks stay I would of expected perfection. I emailed the owner just to let them know she was apologetic.

Owner's Response: Thank you for taking the time to write your review Jeanette and throughout your stay I was pleased to deal with all of your concerns immediately. I can only apologise for the pan drawer and the cob web , both issues have been raised with our head of house keeping. The water pressure in both showers surprised me as we have never had an issue before. During your stay, as I mentioned to you , I raised the matter with the utility company and we did offer to get a plumber in immediately. The system has now been checked ... on the day of your departure... and all was found to be fine internally. I'm sorry for the frayed seam on your bed linen. We change all bed linen and towels every 6 months. The next change being October. I'm not sure how this was missed and have again asked the team to inspect all linen. I can only think that in the rush to deal with your unexpectedly early arrival , this was missed. Despite you review here, I was pleased to see in the guest book that you would all be happy to return and have indeed recommended Randview to a family member who has booked already for next year. We take great pride in looking after Randview and as you can see, we consistently receive 5 star reviews so this review is a big disappointment for us and we will do our best to ensure that we meet your expectations on your next visit. Everything you could want is here - home from home with a local co-op up the road for stock up and a pet-friendly pub nearby selling good food. Cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough.
