Stunning seaside villa in the Limonar neighbourhood

The Clavero estate is built around a traditional Andalusian patio from around the turn of the 20th century. You come to the patio through wrought-iron doors. Both the entry hall and first floor have original mosaic floors.

Two fairways, El Paseo del Limonar and Paseo de Miramar, are in right in the heart of what has been Malaga's best residential area for over a century. The Clavero estate is on Calle Ramos Carrión, which winds from Miramar to Santa Paula. There are wonderful views of the hills, city, and the Mediterranean. We are 5 km from the city centre and three minutes' drive from the E 15 motorway at the Limonar exit. Malaga Airport is 25 km away. It's 15-20 minutes' drive.

The accommodation is on a 4,000-sq.m plot divided between the entrance, the pool area, and an orchard with over 15 fruit tree varieties in the rear part of the property. The gardens surrounding the house have a plethora of tropical plants, such as jasmine, heliotropes, and honeysuckle.

The 15-m long pool has a barbecue area with a breakfast bar and a masonry barbecue making it perfect for entertaining and celebrations. There are also two dressing rooms and a bathroom.

Many details combine to make this one-of-a-kind lodging: the facade with its iron front door, the stone fountain, the modernist tiled floors, the interior patio with lush vegetation, etc.

The hall is elegant and spacious. Here the mosaic floors marry with the precious wood and marble of the stairwell.

In an L-shaped living/dining room, of around 50 sq.m, the mosaic floors, walnut bookshelf, and wide picture window bring warmth into the space. Next to the living room, you can find a fully fitted kitchen / office leading to the garden. There is a small guest WC next to the kitchen.

Continuing with the mosaic design in the hall, the upper floor curves in a semicircle and leads to the bedrooms. The many pretty picture windows surrounding this space flood it with light.

This floor boasts seven bedrooms. Two share a bathroom and the rest are en suite. Overall, there are five comprehensive bathrooms on the upper floor. There is also a TV room with a Canal Plus package and Internet access throughout the house.

The lodging has parking for four cars.

Why Alvaro chose Burriana Beach area

I would say it’s down to its unique architecture and setting. We used beautiful materials to build this house. Its gardens each have their own atmosphere and are a riot of trees and flowers.

What makes this villa unique

It is near the sea and the town. We are a five minutes' walk from the beach and the Pablo Ruiz Picasso Promenade.

Lovely house and impressive sights!

We had a wonderful 3-day stay in this beautiful villa. The house is nicely decorated and fully equipped. We had a lovely time while dining on the terrace (outdoor kitchen/barbecue), swimming and sunbathing around the pool.

Thanks for a lovely stay in this beautiful (old) Spanish family-house!

Fantastic!!!

The villa was fantastic ! We were a group of 14 people : the bedrooms were nice and cosy. The view from the pool is amazing. A handyman leaves nearby the villa: he cleaned the pool every morning and was kind enough to give us a lift to the shop. The beach, bus stop and taxi station are 10 mm away by foot and city center is only 5 mm away by car. The owner was very friendly and we definitely will rent the villa next year!
