This three story Mews house in Bloomsbury is the ideal holiday rental in London for families, groups, romantic getaways or for business travellers. The property is ideally placed for you to explore the whole of London, with world famous areas such as Covent Garden and the City of London as well as museums in London such as the British Museum a short walk away.
Decorated and finished to the highest standard, the house offers air conditioning throughout as well as little luxuries such as a great coffee maker, built in sound system and cable TV. Upon entering, we are sure you will fall in love with the overall sense of space and light, with the open staircase funneling light throughout the property.
Arranged over three floors, this property is light, spacious and full of little luxuries. Taking the well lit, glass staircase to the second level, you come to the open plan living and dining areas. Turning left, the seating area is tastefully furnished with two large sofas (one a sofa bed sleeping two people) and a reclined chair. The focus of this space is relaxation and entertainment. The 50 inch TV with cable TV as well as WIFI, a selection of magazines and a music system mean whatever mood you are in, there will be something to keep you entertained when you want a quiet, relaxing evening in.
To the other side of the first floor space is the formal dining area. Seating 8, this space includes a modern, elegant dining set as well as glass and tableware for you to entertain your family, group or any guests. Both areas are illuminated by two large windows which feed into the open, welcoming feel the space has.
Downstairs, upon entering this stunning mews holiday rental property you will find a fully fitted kitchen to your right and bedroom to your left. The kitchen is fitted out with all the latest equipment, please see these listed in the facilities information below. Appliances include a washer/ dryer, dishwasher and floor to ceiling fridge freezer. For cooking there are both an oven and built in microwave/ combi oven ensuring that you have sufficient space to cater for your whole party. The kitchen is completed by both a breakfast bar and an informal dining area. It’s the perfect place to read the Sunday papers or look over our selection of guide books with a cup of coffee from the coffee machine.
Adjacent across the hallway is the first of three en suite bedrooms. This is the smallest bedroom but it is still furnished to the highest standard. There is a double bed, plenty of wardrobe space and our ever keen attention to detail. The en suite includes a shower cubicle with power shower (as do the other bathrooms) and a WC.
Taking the elegant glass stairway to the third floor, you will find two additional bedrooms, including the master bedroom. The first bedroom you come to is a twin room (sleeping two) which can be set up with two single beds or by zipping them together we can create a third double bed. The room is again decorated to a high standard, as can be seen in the pictures and includes a large en suite bathroom with shower and WC. The bathroom is decorated with an exposed brickwork effect. All three bathrooms are fitted with an elegant marble and stainless steel finish.
The master bedroom is the largest of the three with a king size bed (sleeping another two guests), beautiful illuminated wardrobe and chair to relax in. The en suite bathroom is quite large with a separate shower and bath. Overall, the bedrooms and bathrooms have a classic and elegant feel to them.
All three bedrooms are fitted to the highest standards and feature fabulously comfy bedding such as Egyptian cotton sheets and fluffy towels.
This family friendly London holiday rental is located on John Street (accessed from Roger Street) in the heart of cultural Bloomsbury. The holiday rental is equidistant from the City of London, West End and St Pancras International Station (home of the Eurostar to Paris and Europe). All are reachable in around 20 minutes or less via public transport.
Tube stations close by include Russell Square - which is on the Piccadilly line with direct access to Heathrow in under 50 minutes and one stop from St Pancras International, Holborn and Chancery Lane. The latter two stations are on the Central Line running through London and giving direct access to the City of London.

This property is exactly as it was shown. Very modern and nice! Great accommodations and the owners were wonderful to work with.
My husband, our two teenagers and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this flat. The kitchen has everything you need and there are several grocery stores nearby. I couldn't get the dryer function on the washerdryer to work, but it was very nice to have the washer after 9 days of traveling. The big TV in the living room was great for watching the Olympics. The rooms and beds are small by American standards. The nicest surprise was the neighborhood - little shops, pubs, cafes are all just a block or two away. Lamb's Conduit Street was particularly nice. It's very easy to get the bus anywhere else you want to go.
Modern, well kept and in the heart of London makes this a great place to stay. Nice size kitchen and living room made it very comfortable for the 5 adults staying here. We had a few electrical issues during our 5 day stay. The management was very prompt to address and take care of it. The only thing I might caution other renters on is the staircase. While it looks great, (a smooth flat single piece of stone for each step with a thick solid glass panel instead of a railing for each level) it can be challenging for those that need more assist or support going up and down the stairs. It is slippery and without a traditional railing hard to hold onto the glass panel for support.
We absolutely loved this condo. Extremely clean and modern. The location was great, close bus stations made it very convenient to get around. Plenty of space for my wife and our 5 children. The owner was very helpful in helping plan our pick-up at the airport and getting us our key. Several restaurants withing walking distance, we were even able to walk to the train station upon our departure to take the Eurostar.
This apartment is in a great quiet location within long but comfortable walking distance of several major attractions. These may be a mile or so away but the walk is pleasant and if you choose not to walk there is always a readily available cab or Uber. Neighborhood itself is very quiet but you don't feel isolated. the apartment itself has obviously been recently updated with very striking decor. Probably not best choice for young children as there are 3 levels of wooden stairs with glass handrails. Appliances are easy to use and very efficient. Plumbing and heating are perfect. Highly recommend this apartment for those who want to be away from busy tourist areas.
Sitting in the borough of Camden, Bloomsbury exudes high culture and refinement without being pretentious. Bloomsbury has a well-healed yet understated atmosphere, despite its cultural, scientific and historical bragging rights. Bloomsbury gave it’s name to an eponymous group of intellectuals which included Virginia Woolf.
The garden squares of Russell Square and Bloomsbury Gardens were laid out in the 17th century by the Russell Family. Flanked by Victorian era buildings sitting either site of that great institution the British Museum (10 minutes walk from the house) they contribute to the areas simple beauty. In the immediate area there are attractions such as The Foundling Museum and Charles Dickens Museum (2 mins walk). Today Bloomsbury retains that magical London quality of feeling like a village in a city with regular food markets and local shops.
If you are looking for Shopping, dining and the cinema, the Brunswick Centre (a pleasant 10 minute walk away) has great shops, cafe’s restaurants and dining as well as the Curzon Cinema showing the latest blockbuster releases as well as arthouse films. Restaurants include Itsu, Carluccios and giraffe.
London’s famous Covent Garden, home to museums, the Royal Opera House, theatres and the Piazza is a 20 minute walk or 10 minute hop on the bus away. Find a great mix of boutique, designer and high street shops as well as restaurants serving up every kind of cuisine imaginable. A few minutes walk beyond this takes you into the heart of the London's theatre district, the West End. Enjoy a play, musical or opera and dinner out in one of the world's preeminent theatre and dining areas.
Centred around Russell Square and the world famous, iconic, British Museum, the area is known for its plethora of world class institutions such as University College London, The British Medical Association and Great Ormond Street Hospital.
The house is situated 10 minutes from Chancery Lane tube station. Close by is Farringdon Station with services to the south coast and north to Hertfordshire. St Pancras International Station, the London terminus of Eurostar (1 mile) is 15 minutes via public transport or 20 minutes on foot. Services also run across the UK from here.
