We visited Menorca for the first time in 1991 and from the very first moment we fell in love with the island. Since then we've come every year and in 2003 we decided to purchase this beutiful apartment.

Back in 1991 we already visited Arenal d'en Castell and we found it really pleasant because of the convenient location, the clear waters, fine sand and a quiet community. When we decided on buying in Menorca, it was clear to us Arenal was the best beach for us.

What makes this apartment unique

The great advantage of the property is the exclusive location right on the seashore, you just go through a few steps and you are on the beach sand. Living, kitchen and bedrooms, all have stunning views of the beach and the bay.

Even being a quiet community you have all required services on a walking distance (restaurants, supermarkets, kids areas, taxi, bus service, medical assistance, etc).

Great Accomodation with excellent location

Arrival and departure arrangements with Ana was excellent, the accomodation is very Spanish ie crockery, cooking utensils etc which we had no problem with. Clean and very tidy the the location was everything it was shown to be. Brilliant to have a day out and then roll out the villa at 5pm 18 steps to the beach and stay there till late.

I would ha e preferred access to some sun beds on the top solarium and would have gladly paid a bigger damage deposit for those.

We will return I found it a super little place. Parking right next to villa is hot and miss with people coming to beach but on evening there was no problem and didn’t have to park he car anymore than 5mins walk away. Personally I loved the place..

What a view every morning....great location

We had a wonderful week at this apartment in Arenal d'en Castell in early September. The property was very clean and only steps from the beach. We loved being able to return to the apartment in seconds for lunch or late afternoon. It was wonderful to open the shutters every morning to see the blue water in the bay. We enjoyed the nearby restaurants only 50 - 100 meters away and though quite a few steps up to the supermarket above all the apartments, it was good to have one so close for the essentials for breakfast and lunch.

There were only 2 of us in the 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom property so we only used half of it but the location was perfect and I'd definitely stay there again.

The only 'disappointment' for someone who doesn't drink coffee was the lack of a kettle to make a cup of tea. Boiling a saucepan of water is a nuisance! We would also have preferred a double bed rather than 2 singles.

Having got a taxi from the airport as we arrived late evening, the directions to the property could have been clearer as the taxi driver didn't drop us in the most convenient place to meet the key holder. Directions where to park a rental car behind La Paella Restaurant or for the taxi to drop you off there would have made things easier on arrival.

Ultra-beachside apartment, comfy & clean

We were a party of 3 adults and 1 child, and this was apartment was perfect for us: very handy for the beach; fall asleep to the sound of the waves; sit on the terrace for meals, watch the stars at night, a tiptoe to the beach. It was a clean apartment with sufficient utensils but not extensive eg no corkscrew, no kettle or mugs for tea but that wasn't the end of the world.

The area is lovely, relaxing and with everything you need for a week at the beach. There are great restaurants and cafes and a supermarket for essentials. There are lots of steps (as the town is on the side of a hill) so do take this into account.

Bellissima Arenal en Castell

Appena rientrati dopo aver trascorso una settimana nella bellissima casa di Josè.

L'abitazione è dotata di tutto quello che serve, pulita e di fronte al mare, volendo non serve la macchina perché la baia di Arenal è stupenda e in prossimità si trovano un supermarket e diverse pizzerie/locali. Ma non spaventatevi, l'unico rumore che si sente è quello della risacca.

La casa è più grande di quanto appaia dalle fotografie, ha due camere doppie speculari, ognuna con il proprio bagno con vasca, nel mezzo c'è la sala da pranzo con angolo cottura e divano letto comodissimo per due persone. Al piano superiore una bella terrazza dove rilassarsi a guardare il panorama e stendere gli asciugamani o il bucato (c'è anche la lavatrice).

Incantevole il terrazzino con accesso diretto al mare, attrezzato con tavolo e sedie.

Il proprietario non l'abbiamo incontrato ma solo sentito per telefono/internet, tuttavia sul luogo è presente l'efficientissima signora Ana, che ci ha risolto un piccolo disguido che abbiamo avuto.

Apprezzabile trovare gli essenziali e forse anche qualcosa in più: detersivi/saponi/scottex ma anche caffè, olio, zucchero....mi piace il primo giorno di vacanza sistemarmi con tranquillità e non dover correre a fare spesa come prima cosa.

La consiglio senza alcuna riserva

Nous venons de passer 1 semaine en famille exceptionnelle! Très bel appartement, calme, très bien situé, la vue est magnifique, le site exceptionnel avec de bons restaurants aux alentours. Accueil très chaleureux et aimable d'Ana que nous remercions pour sa disponibilité. L'appartement était très propre et la literie était impeccable. Minorque est une ile magnifique, nous avons été émerveillés et les Minorquins sont d'une très grande gentillesse. A recommander++++

Mi permanencia en agosto

Fui con mi mujer en Arenal d' en castel en esta casa espectacular con Todos Los conforts y adelante de la playa con una vista maravillosa. Lo mas lindo de la vacaccion fue conoscer El dueno Jose que es muy amable.

Quiero volver a Arenal pronto en la misma casa.
