CA'N TAMANY

This is a completely fenced finca of 38 areas, located at the bottom of the mountain side, east of the Bay of Sóller.

It is located about 300 m. from the sea and about thirty meters above their nivl.

The farm is 36 km. from Palma de Mallorca Airport, 30 k. its port 4 km. Soller and 8 km. Fornalutx.

The geographical location of the farm is optimal for the development of hiking trails and just a few steps from the bus stop bound for Palma, Deya and Valldemossa, who are in the most spectacular maritime ledge of Mallorca.

Sóller Beach is sand and stone and is about 500 meters away.

VERY IMPORTANT .- ​​We have two holiday villas "C'an Tamany and Ca'n Baixo" far between, about 80 meters, which can be rented individually or jointly, can stay a maximum of 11 people, and enjoy all collectively facilities.

It is a rustic house with a fully fenced area of ​​38 areas and 76 centiares.

Completely renovated recently, dedicated to housing, and built with stone and thermal insulation.

It consists of ground floor, first floor and large outdoor terrace.

Exterior.-

At the same level and in front of the house is a terrace with table and chairs.

Floor.- plant consists of kitchen, living room, and bathrooms.

Plant floor.- Two double bedrooms (one with extra bed) and bathroom.

Pool

A 20 meters from the house, is located the pool with a solarium of 42 m2. and a maximum water depth of 1.90 m. The pool is overflowing with waterfall and equipment available to generate salt water electrolysis.

Deck chairs and umbrellas are installed in it.

Shower and toilet service.

The pool is shared with the other guests of Villa and occasionally gives the owners

The period of use of the pool is from May 1 to October 15.

The view of the place is excellent.

There is a weekly market every Thursday and Saturday. Great property for a large group of family/friends

Ca’n Tamany shares the salt-water infinity pool with Ca’n Baixo . Ca’n Tamany was well equipped – air-con, washing machine, coffee makers, microwave, sunloungers etc. I liked that there were bits and pieces left in the kitchen eg condiments, washing up liquid, refuse bags. There is a large terrace with a built-in barbecue and outside sink. Wi-Fi was excellent. The pool is between the two and Baixo has a huge outside kitchen and dining area with seating for 10+ people. The pool has plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas and a dedicated toilet so you don’t have to go back to the house. There is a little children’s playhouse in the grounds. Tamany is a little more private as you walk past Baixo to get to it. It is amongst the olive trees so you may need mosquito repellent/citronella candles.

Jaume (the owner) was very helpful. Electricity is additional –readings are taken from the house and pool when you arrive and leave. The pool electricity is shared with the other house. There is also tourist tax to pay – max. 1euro/day pp depending on how long you stay. There is plenty of parking and an electric operated gate. We would have liked two sets of keys as you need the RCU even if you are exiting on foot.

The only negatives were that we found the mattresses too soft so had to put them on the floor. However, this was our personal taste. There is also some traffic noise from the Puerto de Soller tunnel and the roundabout where the buses terminate. It’s convenient being so close and, if you live in a town, you may not even notice it.

It is a five minute walk to the port or to pick up a bus or taxi. However, walking back from town, the last part is steep and the road, although not busy, is dark. We used phone torches to make ourselves visible. Taxis into Soller cost 8 Euros (the tram costs 7 euros per person).

The Soller Tunnel Express bus (No 211) to/from Palma cost us 12,80 Euros one-way for four people (the vintage train which costs 18 Euros pp one-way or 25 Euros return). The bus takes around 30 mins. The train is a lovely 90 minute ride through the mountains into Palma. There are loads of lovely bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets within walking distance or a short journey away in Soller. There’s an excellent market in Soller on Saturday morning till about 1pm (and a few stalls in Puerto de Soller on Thursday mornings selling bread and cakes, cheese and meats, clothes and leather goods.

Would definitely return.

It is true that Villa Ca'n Tamany is not a luxury, but yes, we are aware, since so our valued customers says that is a cottage cozy, quiet, with very nice views and and with a comforting bucolic setting, located just a few minutes to foot of the commercial center of the Port of Sóller and its beach. The peculiar saltwater pool with splendid views and water jump are the ideal complement to the stay of our clients. We are aware of the annoying thing the coaches parked at the roundabout, located 200 metres from our property, even this situation occurs rarely and only during the day. Your meticulous detail of public transport will be, without doubt a great value for our future customers who have had the possibility of reading your much appreciated comments. Hoping to have again with your presence, we greet you cordially.

Dejlig feriebolig med fantastisk udsigt og tæt på Port Soller

Ferieboligen ligger på ugenert og roligt sted med fantastisk udsigt over bugten ved Port Soller. Dejligt med adgang til pool. Boligen ligger i gåafstand fra byen, hvor der er flere gode restauranter.

Super godt indrettet, der var hvad vi skulle bruge i huset

dejligt hus, skøn beliggenhed dejlig kort til byen, dog var sengene meget bløde, kunne godt bruge nogle hårdere senge.

Bruyant avec terrasse et piscine donnant sur le rond point Électricité à régler en sus

Électricité et taxe de séjour à régler en sus.

Difficulté de communication avec le propriétaire qui a engendré un retard de 4h pour la remise des clefs. + pas de nécessaire comme On s attendrait à en trouver en louant à un particulier (pas d huile sel poivre café papier toilette etc..) + les photos sont mélangées avec celles de l autre maison aussi en location et sur le même terrain avec servitude de passage

Sinon c est une belle station balnéaire et les moutons du propriétaire sont très sympathiques et les enfants en garderont un très bon souvenir.

Estancia de 9 dias en uno de los más bonitos rincones de la isla.

Hemos disfrutado en esta Villa de unos dias inolvidables. Su quietud, su situación y su entorno, asi como la proximidad al centro urbano a tan solo 5 minutos a pie, hacen de esta Villa el lugar ideal para pasar las vacaciones.

El jardin muy bien cuidado, una maravillosa terraza en la cual nos desayunamos ante una esplendida vista al mar y a las montañas, asi como del relax en su hermosa piscina, son los complementos ideales.

Debemos destacar la gentileza de sus propietarios y el buen cuidado de todas sus instalaciones.

Regresaremos, sin duda alguna.
