Our beautiful barn conversion is available to rent, in a secluded valley in the South Hams, Devon. We are ideally situated to access many of the best beaches in the South Hams, with Salcombe, Bantham, Bigbury, Slapton Sands all within half an hour. Coastal walks and country pubs galore. We are ten minutes from the charming estuary town, Kingsbridge, which provides multiple restaurants and cafes, an artisan bakery, grocers, several butchers, an arts cinema plus many more charming gift and furnishing shops.
The property consists of a spacious kitchen-diner, with patio doors leading onto a sunny patio, spacious decking area and a secluded south-west facing garden. The view consists of rolling hills stretching beyond a wild swimming pool to the horizon. Two double bedrooms downstairs share use of a shower room. There is a further WC and utility room. Upstairs, our lounge has a high pitched roof with dramatic beams. One double bedroom upstairs has a juliet balcony over the courtyard and another double, a mezzanine floor above and more stunning views. The stove in the lounge guarantees cosy evenings. There is a generous mezzanine floor over the lounge with 2 fold away camp beds providing a fifth room (if required) or a games room with fold away pool table. All rooms have beautiful antique furniture. The family bathroom has a large corner bath with shower over.This is our home so it's extremely well equipped.This property acts as our main home, so it is furnished to a very high standard of comfort. A true home from home! Well-stocked bookshelves, snooker table, DVDS , Sound system Barbeque all for your enjoyment. Delight in this fantastic corner of Devon, far away from the hustle and bustle. We are renting our property while we are travelling and we are pricing it extremely competitively as a result. We look forward to meeting you!

Our house on 3 levels is spacious comfortable and very different with its vaulted beamed ceilings and mezzanine floor overlooking the lounge. The view from the garden is fabulous and the position is wonderfully secluded. The position of the house is perfect for seeing everything Dartmoor and the South Hams has to offer.
What makes this Barn unique
This property has an uninterrupted view of rolling hills . The garden slopes down to a field strewn with Alpacas and sheep beyond which lies a landscaped pond and wildlife area. Beyond this is a babbling stream which meanders down to the Aulne River. Over the brow of the hill is the sea at Bantham, South Milton, Thurlestone, Hope Cove , Bigbury ,Salcombe, Mothercombe Bay and Wonwell. Used as locations in many Films ..Black Beauty Treasure Island ..Sense ans Sensiblity and many more! In the other direction is Dartmouth and the Dart Valley. Dartmouth Country Club is a 20 minute drive to a first class golf course and Health Spa. Thurlestone offers World class golf and more golf is on your doorstep at Bigbury. The famous Aulne Valley meat and Avon Mill Garden Centre and South Devon Chilli farm are close by to accommodate your catering needs and indulge in a first class breakfast The Georgian town of Modbury is about 3 miles away and has 3 pubs and 2 restaurants , antiques and bric a brac and a first class gallery. There are countless restaurants, eateries and pubs in this part of South Hams you will be spoilt for choice. Most offer alfresco dining and outstanding scenery! Fifty miles of coastline to walk glorious white sandy beaches and turquoise seas. South Hams is a little piece of paradise. Dartmoor shouldn't be missed. Great for horse riding and walking. Ashburton is a great town to buy Antique furniture and unusual gifts as is the unique town of Totnes. So so much to do...Oh and then there's historic Plymouth and Exeter and....

Salcombe ( Chelsea by Sea ) is close by for sailing and boating and shopping! Great restaurants and bars and a great buzz in the summer.
