3 Bed, 2 Bath With Large Private Garden and Walk-in Pool With Mountain Views.

A beautiful and authentic Spanish cortijo with varied garden and outdoor spaces with views of the Sierra Cabrera Mountains and set around a tropical walk-in swimming pool, full of character and charisma, situated in the countryside of Mojácar, just a few minutes drive from the beaches, attractions and amenities of Mojácar Playa.

Wandaland is a hidden paradise amongst its many varieties of trees and plants, tropical swimming pool with water features and a beach entry as well as other relaxing spaces within a 1,500m² garden.

The main entrance of the cortijo comprises of a large open plan living/dining area, with an adjoining fully equipped kitchen, a double bedroom, a quiet study space and a second double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower.

Through the feature hallway, there is a twin bedroom with a partition, a lounge hallway space and a bathroom with shower.

The exterior areas include a furnished back porch looking onto the garden and an exterior dining area with gas barbecue facing the pool with marvellous views of the Sierra Cabrera Mountains behind. An ideal place to hide from the outside world within the beautiful oasis that is Wandaland.

We recently moved for convenience of work and rather than leave our house empty, we decided to offer it to like minded people who would enjoy the experience of staying in a traditional local house with lots of character and conveniently located in the countryside of Mojacar.

Wandaland is a special property. It has been worked on for many years by ourselves whilst we lived there and has now been made into a beautiful holiday home. It has many quirks and features which make it a little bit different form anything else.

It gives a feeling of being away from it all as you are within an amazing space where you can really feel like you have gone to a country retreat, but the reality is that you are just 5 minutes from the main resort of this beautiful and exclusive coast.

What makes this chateau / country house unique

Wandaland has a 1.500m2 garden with a swimming pool which includes a beach entry and water features.

The views from Wandaland are of the Sierra Cabrera Mountains and the Pueblo of Mojacar perched on the foothills.

Very conveniently located away from the noise and distractions of the local beach and town properties, yet just a few minutes from it all. An ideal setting for a relaxing yet fun and exciting holiday.

  • The en-suite bathroom has a full bath and shower looking out to the countryside and the Cabrera Mountain range. The second bathroom has a standing shower WC and sink located at the back of the house with access from the exterior porch which leads out to the barbecua and dining area.

    Bedroom 2 (en-suite) - 1 Double Bed , Master bedroom with en-suite bath.
    Bedroom 3 (Twin room) - 2 Single Bed , Twin room with curtain partition between the beds.
  • The first double bedroom has the feature of a raised floor where the bed is as well as an overhead wooden frame for netting over the bed which was there originally and we wanted to leave. The master bedroom enjoys an en-suite bathroom as well as large balcony doors looking out onto the fields that surround the property and the Cabrera Mountain range. It also has a ceiling fan. At the back of the house there are 2 adjoining single bedrooms that are separated by a curtain. The smallest room benefits the view out to the pool and garden. All the windows in the bedrooms have mosquito nets installed as well as standing fans to ventilate the rooms on those hot summer nights.

Our property is located in a peaceful and secluded spot but so conveniently close to both Turre for its amenities, bars and restaurants and Mojácar, the focal point of everyone's visit.

With a coast of 17km, Mojácar is a fantastic place to enjoy its amazing beaches. Many of them have been awarded the FEE Blue Flag for quality.

There are many bars and restauranst in the area and there are always things going on. There are many famous attractions nearby like the Mini Hollywood Theme Park and Zoo to the Water park in Vera Playa.

The Landlord does not accept liability for any loss or damage caused by weather conditions, riot, strikes, sickness or any cause beyond its control.
