Within a ten minute walk from the centre of Aviemore, this newly built apartment offers superior quality self-catering accommodation in the beautiful Cairngorms National Park. With views to the Cairngorm Mountains from the lounge and to Ghuilbin Hill and Kinveachy Forest from the double bedroom, the apartment is an ideal base for a relaxing getaway with everything you need for a comfortable self-catering holiday.

The centre of Aviemore is within easy walking distance of Mountain View Apartment where you’ll find a number of shops, restaurants, cafes, a supermarket and leisure amenities. It is a seven minute walk from the holiday apartment to Dalfaber Golf and Country Club, the nearest bar and restaurant. You can also take out a weekly membership at Dalfaber for swimming, squash and other leisure activities.

Cairngorm Mountain is a 20-30 minute bus ride or drive, where you can enjoy snow sports in the winter months or take a journey on the Funicular Mountain Railway for stunning panoramic views. There is an hourly bus service to Aviemore and up to Cairngorm Mountain.

Activities in the National Park include walking, cycling, bird watching, fishing, horse riding, gorge walking, sailing and canoeing.

There are a number of local attractions within easy reach of Aviemore such as the Strathspey Steam Railway, the Landmark Forest Heritage Park and the award winning Highland Folk Museum and Park.

Holiday weekend

Really comfortable stay for 3 nights with our two young children. Wasn't disappointed with the view. The outside store was very handy. The breakfast bar should have rounded corners as both our children bumped their heads on it but that was our problem really just be aware. Perhaps a note on waste recycling in the kitchen would help. We put glass in the general waste but maybe we should have taken bottles to a recycle station?

Place is clean and have excellent view of mountains

We book this place for one week me my wife and my friend and his wife.Apertment is in perfect place of highland and have excellent view of mountain.conveniece store is on four minute walk.

Place is so nice and clean and fully equipped with cutlery plates,laundry,dish washer it's like home to home.

Diana is really friendly and smiley host.neibhours are so quite.i specially recommended this place.

Lovely , comfortable flat with great views.

This is a lovely , immaculately kept flat in a good location and with great views.

It has two good bedrooms and bathrooms , with a great bath to soak in.

Kitchen has everything you need.

Only slight negative is the lack of wifi and the TV is small and reception suffers in bad weather.

But then most people don't go to Aviemore to sit indoors!

Diana is welcoming and very helpful.

This is the second time we have stayed .

Location

Car: not necessary

From the north: follow signs for Aviemore/B9152. Just after the 30 mph limit signs, turn left into Dougall Drive. Take a right at the mini roundabout and the first right into car park. Flat 34 is on the left.

From the south: leave the A9 following signs for Aviemore/B9152. Drive straight through Aviemore to the north end of the village and after approximately 1.5 miles turn right into Dougall Drive. Take a right at the mini roundabout and the first right into car park onto Newland Road.
