Within a ten minute walk from the centre of Aviemore, this newly built apartment offers superior quality self-catering accommodation in the beautiful Cairngorms National Park. With views to the Cairngorm Mountains from the lounge and to Ghuilbin Hill and Kinveachy Forest from the double bedroom, the apartment is an ideal base for a relaxing getaway with everything you need for a comfortable self-catering holiday.
The centre of Aviemore is within easy walking distance of Mountain View Apartment where you’ll find a number of shops, restaurants, cafes, a supermarket and leisure amenities. It is a seven minute walk from the holiday apartment to Dalfaber Golf and Country Club, the nearest bar and restaurant. You can also take out a weekly membership at Dalfaber for swimming, squash and other leisure activities.
Cairngorm Mountain is a 20-30 minute bus ride or drive, where you can enjoy snow sports in the winter months or take a journey on the Funicular Mountain Railway for stunning panoramic views. There is an hourly bus service to Aviemore and up to Cairngorm Mountain.
Activities in the National Park include walking, cycling, bird watching, fishing, horse riding, gorge walking, sailing and canoeing.
There are a number of local attractions within easy reach of Aviemore such as the Strathspey Steam Railway, the Landmark Forest Heritage Park and the award winning Highland Folk Museum and Park.

This is a lovely , immaculately kept flat in a good location and with great views.
It has two good bedrooms and bathrooms , with a great bath to soak in.
Kitchen has everything you need.
Only slight negative is the lack of wifi and the TV is small and reception suffers in bad weather.
But then most people don't go to Aviemore to sit indoors!
Diana is welcoming and very helpful.

Our family was more than happy with the apartment. Unfortunately the children were disappointed that there was no internet access. Overall I would recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to stay in Aviemore.
We loved our stay at Mountain View Apartment. It was a wonderful, home from home retreat after a days cycling around Aviemore, Boat of Garten and Rothiemurchus cycle paths. It had everything we needed for a comfortable holiday. Diana was a great host. The cycle storage area was a great advantage. The flat might benefit from WIFI. Thank.
Second time we have stayed in the apartment. As before it was spotless on arrival. It's a very modern, warm place and has great views. It is in a very quiet complex with shops and restaurants a 5min walk away. A great place to stay for a break.
We were met by Diana the owner who showed us around and provided useful info about the area. The apartment is lovely. It really does have a mountain view. The beds are very comfortable and curtains have blackout linings! The kitchen is very well equipped with extras like lunch boxes and a flask. The apartment is absolutely spotless. I highly recommend it.
Returned to this apartment for our third visit and couldn't be happier with our stay. As usual a wonderfully warm welcome from Diana and once again both the location and apartment exceeded expeditions. Nothing else to say except big thanks Diana and see you next year!
From the north: follow signs for Aviemore/B9152. Just after the 30 mph limit signs, turn left into Dougall Drive. Take a right at the mini roundabout and the first right into car park. Flat 34 is on the left.
From the south: leave the A9 following signs for Aviemore/B9152. Drive straight through Aviemore to the north end of the village and after approximately 1.5 miles turn right into Dougall Drive. Take a right at the mini roundabout and the first right into car park onto Newland Road.
