"Can Xilla” is a great villa settled in a fairytale location, in Aucanda, in one of the higuest locations you can find with the spectacular Mediterranean landscape just infront you.
Built on a plot measuring approximately 26,000 square metres, it comprises a main house in 3 levels with three bedrooms. One bedroom is on the third level and it has a double bed, an ensuite bathroom and a private terrace with a chill out area; The second bedroom has a double bed and an ensuite bathroom and the third bedroom has twin beds and a bathroom just outside the bedroom. There is a a large kitchen with breakfast area, bright and spacious living/dining room, utility room, storage room and garage.
There is a second house, a guest annex, that consists of 2 bedrooms (one downstairs and another one, open in the attic roof) and a complete bathroom. There is place for 10 person in this lovely villa.
Outside, it boasts a splendid covered porch with a barbecue area, annex living room with fireplace, a few large terraces and an unbelievable swimming pool.
The property also offers air conditioning and central heating and much much more. The Golf Course of Alcanada is very close, just 500 meters away.
Can Xilla is located in a residendial area where you can find one of Northern Mallorcas most beautiful natural beach, called Aucanada.
Mallorcas largest beach, Puerto de Alcudia beach, (12 km long) is located just 1,5 km way from the villa. There you´ll find all types of Sport activities like windsurf, paddle surf, sailing, bottom glass boats, scuba,...., restaurants, cafes, boutiques... and also for the kids there are playgrounds, swimming pools, attractions... Nearby there are also banks, doctors, clinics, pharmacies.
The marina of Puerto Alcudia is also nearby. There you can have a nice walk watching small traditional fishermen boats and modern luxury yachts. There´s also a handcrafts market set up every night, and some very good restaurants and cocktail bars.
There are also historical buildings such the Roman city of Pollentia, the Roman theater, the medieval walls of the town of Alcudia .
If you are a nature fan, Mallorcas biggest Natural park, called S'Albufera and S'Albufereta are just a few km away. There are plenty of hiking routes in Aucanada, Bon Aire, La Victoria, Coll Baix...
Can Xilla is a wonderful very Mediterranean holiday villa in the prestigious urbanization of Alcanada and very close, just 500 meters from the clear waters of the beaches of Alcanada and the same distance from the incredible golf Alcanada.
Club de Golf Alcanada is a large, hilly 18-hole course designed by Robert Trent Jones and his son, with glorious views from every hole and the bay of Alcudia and the lighthouse on the island of Alcanada backdrop of the Sierra Llevant.
Alcanada is housed in the peninsula of Cap des Pinar and protected by the peak of sa Madona (151 meters). Its coast facing the island of Alcanada which houses a magnificent and beautiful lighthouse and its vicinity Torre Major, defense seventeenth century fort stands to repel pirate attacks can be seen.
The area of Alcanada, open to the winds from the southeast-south-southwest, has excellent conditions for anchoring boats. The navigator will find a sandy bottom and crystal clear turquoise waters.
Alcanada beach is quiet and family, with plenty of sand and boulders. Majestic pines near-shore the clothing and the fantastic natural environment in which interlocks is also perfect to enjoy the best hiking and mountain biking on undulating roads through pine and olive trees.
Alcanada also features fine restaurants like La Terraza to enjoy the best fish in the Mediterranean.
And just 2 km away from the property is Port d'Alcudia, a small fishing port, which today has become a popular place for people who enjoy life at the beach. The boardwalk has won several competitions in architecture and urbanism and is the perfect place to walk with its fragrant aroma and pleasant breeze, between "llaüts" traditional fishing boats setting, and the modern marina Alcudiamar.
On the other hand, there also find the best fish restaurants, ice cream parlors and clothing stores. And in front of the beach, 10 kilometers of fine sand that draws the Bay of Alcudia with its crystal clear turquoise waters. It is the most popular beach, with all services: bars, boat rental and sailing courses and a water park.
The villa is also located just 3 km from the charming town of Alcudia, whose name combines the Arabic and Roman footprint. Located near the Serra de Tramuntana, Alcúdia has his back to the rural Majorca, feet the waters of two bays, the north of Pollença and Alcúdia east.
Alcudia is housed in the heart of this area of contrasts, between the stone wall of the Serra and the sandy coves of the Bay of Alcudia between the north wind, the sea and inland.
Alcudia boasts an important historical heritage and the essence of Mediterranean life, where everything happens slowly, where everything is savored and enjoyed. Within its medieval walls (which began to be built in 1300) is Sa Plaza: the meeting place of the "alcudiencs" place of passage, the meeting point. All around are bars, restaurants and terraces to enjoy the best cuisine of the island.
In either direction from the square winding streets in several directions lead you to beautiful monuments like the gates of Xara and Sant Sebastia, the Church of Sant Jaume, opposite which lies the city of Rome Pollentia and a little beyond the Roman theater, a 'rara avis' because instead of being built, is dug into the rock.
A row of orange mark the route of the main streets, the Carrer del Moll and Main Street. These streets are home to small jewelery shops, shoe stores, clothing stores, bars, restaurants ... Many of these establishments are housed in large houses built centuries ago, small and peaceful squares.
Alcúdia is one of those places worth lost in its streets to discover around every corner a new place with charm, a new feel.
Every Tuesday and Sunday morning, the pace of the city is accelerated with the market. Farmers, traders, artisans and artists paint color the villa and bustle of the people around you feel inside and outside the medieval walls.
