About the property

Situated in the heart of the city centre but on the peaceful side of the apt.

A light and airy apartment in the heart of Pau accommodating 2 people and an additional 1 or 2 guests on the sofa bed (46m2). Situated between the Boulevard with its splendid view of the Pyrénées, a short stroll from the castle and on the doorstep of the shops, bars and restaurants.

The apartment is situated on the 2nd floor and can be accessed by lift or stairs, the apartment overlooks the rooftops without being overlooked and faces away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre ensuring peace and quiet.

The apartment is equipped with everything necessary to make your stay comfortable.

A travel cot can be made available on request.

The apartment is in the city centre or what is known here as the "Hyper Centre"; right out the front door and you are on the Boulevard overlooking the mountains, left and you are amongst the lively shops of Pau. Not to mention being next to the majority of the restaurants, bars and cafés including some of Pau's finest. We would be delighted to advise if you would like recommendations.

The apartment is in a perfect location for accessing public transport - Pau train station is a short walk down the hill through beautiful gardens or if you're feeling lazy a 2 minute journey on the funiculaire.

The Coxitis, a free bus that goes all around the city centre - to the food market, museums, castle - even though they are all close by it makes for an easy hop on/ hop off if anyone has weary feet!

There is a car park at the entrance to the apartment and we can offer you a pass for 5€ per day instead of 10€.

If you choose our apartment we would be delighted to help if you need any recommendations or assistance. We live in the centre of Pau and are on hand to help if you need anything. Aside from wishing you a wonderful stay we simply ask that you leave the apartment as you find it. That you respect the neighbours. That anything broken is paid for.

Why Louise Buisson chose Pau

The location is straight onto the boulevard or towards the shops. The apartment itself looks towards the rear of the building away from the hustle and bustle providing maximum calm for such a central location. For those of reduced mobility the apartment has a lift and there is a free bus that tours the city 50m from the entrance taking you to the park, the market, and the castle to name but a few.

The apartment is well equipped and feel free to ask for anything specific if you need it, perhaps I can provide it.

It's my first ownership and naturally the apartment remains really why I still have it!

Well-appointed, comfortable, cozy, bright and quiet apartment in a great location!

The apartment is directly off the main Boulevard du Pyrenees on a tree-lined street, close to shops, restaurants, cafes, walking paths, parks, the Chateau, cathedral, other sights and the train station. You walk out the door of the building, look to your right and there is the Boulevard with the majestic, snow-capped Pyrenees off in the distance. Such a beautiful view! The Boulevard is right there to walk along: enjoy the view, stop at a cafe, rent a city bike, tour the Chateau, ride the funicular... Louise and her family were very accommodating, helpful and friendly, very quickly working out an unforeseen issue with getting the keys. Life happens! They have a lovely wine shop near the cathedral, too. The apartment has everything you need; the bedroom is spacious and the bed is super comfortable. The windows are tall and let in lots of light, but also have shades to block out the light. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Pau! Thank you!

The apartment is situated in the heart of the city centre. Everywhere is accessible on foot; the castle is 500m in one direction and the park Beaumont 500m in the other direction. Whilst here you have to have your morning coffee or afternoon tea or aperitif in one of the bard or cafés on the Boulevard to enjoy the fabulous mountain views.
