On entering the apartment, you will see that it can sleep up to 6 people in a king bed, a double bed and a convertible sofa bed. You will observe floor to ceiling windows, air conditioning / heating, washing machine / dryer, dishwasher, a fully equipped kitchen with an induction hob, oven, refrigerator, wine fridge, television and free wifi, Blue Ray DVD player, a cafetière (French press) and a choice of regular and decaffeinated ground coffee, regular and herbal teas, ensures a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Hotel quality bed linen, salon quality shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and hairdryers are provided.
Laundry detergent, fabric conditioner and dishwasher detergent are also provided.
Avantgarde has an impressive foyer, 24/7 concierge, residents lounge, roof terrace, and residents garden. Longer term residents can access the fitness centre on completion of the induction.
On the ground floor, there are three restaurants, an Italian delicatessen/restaurant and a cocktail bar. There is also a mini supermarket,which is open from 07:00 to 23:00 where a good range of essentials can be purchased.
Transport links are excellent with Shoreditch High Street station just 2 minutes away and Liverpool Street station just 10 minutes away. At most times, there are Uber taxis available in just a few minutes.
Shopping locations such as Bond Street, Oxford Street and Knightsbridge can be easily accessed by public transport in 20 minutes. The West End theatre and entertainment venues are also 20 minutes away by public transport.
Business travellers will find the location close to the financial districts of the City (walking distance) and Canary Wharf (a 20 minute ride).
I work in Finance during the day and moved into the area about 2 years ago. I live in another apartment about 10 minutes walk away. This is the most exciting area in London right now and is an enjoyable place to live. I got into hosting over a year ago and the experience of communicating and hosting visitors from other countries is very enjoyable.

This luxury apartment is in the highly rated Avantgarde development. Shoreditch is one of the most fashionable and trendiest districts in London with excellent transport links. We operate on a friendly basis, and not as a cold impersonal hotel, and therefore we would like to know some background about you before we can take a booking. We find that this works both ways as guests would like to be welcomed into a friendly place.
**NEW** Night tube on Fridays and Saturdays
Central line - trains running approximately every 10 minutes between White City and Leytonstone and approximately every 20 minutes between Ealing Broadway to White City and Leytonstone to Loughton/ Hainault. The nearest stop is Liverpool Street, which is 10 minutes walk from the apartment.
Victoria line - trains running on average every 10 minutes across the entire line.
Jubilee line - starts on October 7.
This is the only new development in the heart of Shoredtich and has restaurants and a cocktail bar in the same building. The apartment is also air conditioned and can provide heating in the winter months, and rarely for London, cooling in the summer.
We really appreciated the help we received from the owner prior to our arrival. We asked many questions over several weeks about transportation and locations. They answered very quickly, which was instrumental in planning our trip. We were met at the property by Eva who helped us settle into the apartment. Her efforts were greatly appreciated. The apartment was very nice and clean, and was located in an area that had several different types of restaurants, which was great after a long day of touring. The apartment is located very close to the Shoreditch tube station, which was very important when we were booking as we had those in our party that had walking issues. We would definitely book this property again, and would recommend it to others! The only suggestions we have would be to ask for additional towels if you are staying more than one day, and ask for the location of the linens for the pull out bed in the living room. Also, ask for the instructions on how to use various items, particularly the washer/dryer combination. The washer/dryer was something else that was important when we booked, but we didn't know how to run the machine. These were minor issues, and overall it was a great place to stay, and again, we would highly recommend it!
