Description

Photos and Description of this 3 bedroom holiday home in Conwy Town

Castle View Townhouse offers outstanding accommodation in the heart of the medieval walled market town of Conwy, North Wales.

Conwy is a world heritage site and most famous for its spectacular Edwardian Castle and surrounding walls. Castle View Townhouse is located on Conwy's High Street, within the walls, and therefore allows immediate access to all of Conwy's attractions. It is an ideal base for exploring Conwy and the surrounding North Wales countryside and coast.

This spacious and modern three bedroom property, dating from the 16th century, is spread over three floors and offers self-catering accommodation for up to six guests. The property has spectacular views of the Castle at the rear and Plas Mawr to the front.

The property has a large and modern kitchen which seats six and has all of the modern appliances/equipment required should you wish to eat in. The cosy living room has a large TV, DVD player and Wi-Fi. On the first floor is the bathroom which has a large shower and separate bath with waterfall tap. The Cariad room has a kingsize bed and spectacular views to the castle and St Mary's Church. The Llewellyn room has two impressive full sized single beds with views to Plas Mawr. The stunning King Edward room on the top floor has a large king size bed with double velux windows looking towards Conwy Castle and the Estuary

The property has the added luxury (and rarity) of two car parking spaces for guests to utilise.

Conwy is a lively hub with a beautiful quayside to relax, eat ice cream and enjoy the waters edge. The Liverpool arms offers refreshments on the quayside and you can even do a bit of crabbing.

Enormous size, breath-taking views, central location, helpful host to make our stay perfect

  • 5 of 5

This home is located in the heart of Conwy with dazzling views outside all windows. Main living room and all bedrooms were quite spacious. Bathrooms were modern. Full kitchen and eating area worked well for all meals during out stay. Home was next to several convenient stores that made it very easy to pick-up food on the way home from a full day of touring. The home was also centrally located within in the town to what ever you may want to see: Conwy Castle, Plas Mawr, the waterfront and town walls. Samantha was an excellent host and guide when we were first planning our visit from overseas to when we got to town. She made everything feel very comfortable and welcoming. A highly recommended stay!

Perfect location in a great little town

  • 5 of 5

We stayed (my wife, myself, our 16 month old boy and my wife's parents) here for the May Bank Holiday. Conwy was very busy, and there was a little bit of noise from outside as you would expect, but it didn't detract from our stay. The location overlooks Plas Mawr and is the perfect place to stay in Conwy - right in the heart of the town, and great for nipping out to the shop, or for an ice cream or beer!

The flat itself is spread over three floors with a fabulous large bedroom at the top of the house. Below the apartment is St. David's Hospice charity shop, so no noise from there. The kitchen is well appointed with a large dining room, and the living room is very spacious (even better than it looks in the pictures in my opinion).

Overall, if you're looking to stay in Conwy, look no further.

Absolutely brilliant!

  • 5 of 5

Samantha sent me a pack in the post after booking about where we can eat and places to visit along with a welcome letter and directions which was a really nice touch.

When we arrived at the apartment we were even more blown away as the place seemed even bigger in the flesh and was immaculate. It is situated right in the centre of the town and the parking for two cars was a godsend! The rooms are very spacious and the beds very comfortable. The apartment was very well equipped and I don't think there was anything missing at all.

Overall this was a really pleasant stay and we will be back for sure!!! Thanks for a wonderful stay :)

WONDERFUL STAY

  • 5 of 5

We had a three night stay, and it was wonderful. The house is in a great location with two parking spaces. Although the property is located on the High Street we found it to be very quiet. There were 4 adults and two teenage boys in our party and we found the house to be very spacious and clean and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking at staying in Conwy or the surrounding area. We visited Caernarfon Castle, and Aber Falls which are within easy reach. We also went to Bounce below which is a must for adrenaline junkies. It was a pleasure going back to the house after a day out sightseeing and I would have no doubts about booking again if we were to stay in that area.
