Pjazza Tigné is 4 minutes away on foot and is the central hub for a vibrant mix of exclusive shops and cafés

The Space

With a beautiful sea view, your apartment comes finished to the highest standard.

The apartment has high ceilings, large rooms and a wide hallway to give a superb feeling of space. You have two beautiful modern bathrooms, you have two big bath tubs and two large showers. You then have two double bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a super-king sized bed which can be made into 2 comfortable single beds with most amazing sea view over to Valetta.

Your kitchen is very well equipped so you can enjoy home cooked dinners and save on restaurant bills. The kitchen, sitting room and dining room are open plan and lead to your balcony which is one of the best views on the island. The view out of the windows at the back of your apartment is equally breathtaking.

During the summer months there is a large designated swimming area within a 3 minute walk from your apartment and you also have a sports club with full amenities which is also 3 minutes away and this costs E 20 for a week’s membership.

Tigne Point is 4 minutes walk from the apartment. It is the central hub for a vibrant mix of shops, cafés and bars. You can sip a cup of coffee, a glass of wine or savour a meal while soaking in the atmosphere and relaxing to the sound of the trickling fountains. Within the Tigne Point shopping centre you will find a big supermarket with plenty of choice.

As you walk along the promenade the other way, so this time you turn right as you leave the apartment and head towards Sliema’s town centre, you will find some more of Malta’s fun and fashionable shops, restaurants and bars.

MY PARKING CARD

Parking in Sliema is very tricky. I do have a parking card that makes life very easy when trying to park the car. It costs me E2,000 a year for this card, so whilst I am happy to lend it out I would be grateful if you really look after it. I would like to ask for a nominal contribution of £3 a day to use the card, if it is lost or broken then it costs E40 to replace it. If you would like to borrow my card please just ask.

Guest access

We work with a private chauffeur firm who will greet you at the arrivals terminal at the airport. He will have your name on his board so that you can recognise him easily and then he will give you a comfortable journey from the airport to your apartment for the same cost as a taxi. The cost is 20 Euros for 4 people and luggage.

If I am in Malta I will show you around your apartment myself, but if I am abroad, then our chauffeur, who is now a friend, and the owner of the chauffeur firm that we use, he will give you the keys to your apartment and show you around.

I have negotiated this free check in for you when our chauffeur picks you up from the airport. Alternatively if you would like to make your own way to the apartment then I can book someone to come and show you around. As this person will incur her time to get to the apartment and is likely to have to wait a while if your plane is delayed and help you if you get lost, you would need to pay her 8 Euros for her time and I would be grateful if you would pay this in advance of your arrival if you choose this option instead of the free check-in.

Interaction with guests

We welcome families, business professionals and couples to this beautiful apartment.

Our approach is providing you with the freedom you require to fully enjoy your stay at the apartment. So, in advance of your arrival we will provide you with a ‘welcome pack’ document that sets out what you need to know about the apartment when you arrive.

We also provide you with ‘Our local guide to Malta’ two weeks before arrival. This explains many local places you can visit, eat, drink or go to during your visit.

On arrival you will be welcomed and shown around the apartment and during your stay I will contact you from time to time by email or by phone to ensure all things are going well.

On the day before you depart I will contact you again to give you a gentle reminder of the chauffeur’s details and to confirm the pick-up time and support you with an easy check out.

If at any time during your stay you need anything please let me know and it will be attended to straightaway.

PLEASE NOTE:

If you are a smoker you are welcome to stay but PLEASE ONLY SMOKE OUTSIDE THE APARTMENT so as to keep the inside nice and fresh. Thank you so much.

Getting around

You are just a few minutes’ walk from buses that will take you all around the island. You are also a 5 minute walk to the ferry to Valletta. Everything is close by here.

About The Owner

My name is Pam and I look after a few beautiful homes that you are very welcome to stay in....this apartment in London, a magical log cabin in Marlow between Oxford and London and two fabulous sea-view apartments in Malta.

My background is accountancy and then I decided that travelling was a lot more fun so off I went around the World! I have my own business and now also enjoy looking after my two gorgeous kiddies. They fill me with pride, happiness and contentment. Do ask me any questions about my places as I would love to welcome you as my guest.

A beautiful apartment and holiday

I had a beautiful stay in Pam's apartment. Wonderfully clean and minimalist but with everything i needed to hand. So kind to make sure there was tea for me to make on arrival! Sliema is a very handy place to go to if visiting Malta. The ferry to Valetta is only a couple of minutes stroll down the road and all the boat tours are along the same stretch, even the Captain Morgan office is just downstairs so that you can book and arrange everything very easily. I caught a bus over to Golden Bay very easily from the stop down the road and had a lovely boat harbour trip. On previous visits I have been over to Gozo on the day cruise. The rocks Just across the road are a lovely place to sunbathe so all in all a great stay! I'll visit again!

Amazing Beautiful and the perfect place in Malta

I am a frequent visitor to Malta and having stayed in several different hotels/b&b/apartments over the past 12 years or so this is without any doubt the best I have ever stayed in. Firstly the apartment itself is stunning, wide spacious living area, kitchens and rooms with a breathtaking view. The organisation of our stay could not have been made any easier. The owners clearly care about their guests and for a few days this was and felt like our home. The location is excellent with Tigne Point shopping just a 2 minute stroll, including a supermarket. Bars and restaurants along Sliema front. Easy for Bus routes all around the island and the very short Ferry trip to Valletta. All within a minute or two stroll. It is the perfect place in the perfect location.

Wonderful View and Central Location to Tours

The apartment is located in a great place to pick up the various on-off bus tours, harbor tours and ferry boat to Valletta. The view of the old town of Valletta was breath taking and we enjoyed sitting on the wide balcony that easily hosted four adults around a large table. The apartment was appointed well with two nice bedroom and two complete bathrooms so the two couples could have their own space. The washer was helpful as we were in our third week of our trip. The modern kitchen allowed for two couples to easily use the kitchen. Sliema is an upcoming and changing town with lots of construction of buildings with noisy streets. We did find two very nice grocery stores near the apartment and some quaint small shops off the main drag. Malta itself has a lot to offer and a week does not do it justice. The water is the bluest water we have ever seen with the fall weather being perfect. I would recommend this apartment to anyone, Pam Cobb (manager) is very helpful and has things set up to make it easy. If one is looking for the old world vibe, Sliema may not be your town. However in Valletta or other old world towns you may not get the comfort of the modern apartment with the fabulous view of the old world.

The location could not be bettered

From the outset, Pam made the whole process of booking and staying at her stunning apartment a friendly and informative experience.

Transfer from the apartment was a breeze, thanks to the very helpful Dennis, and at a very reasonable price.

The property is located in a prime position with 180 degree stunning views from the furnished balcony. It is also very convenient for shopping, bars and restaurants, the ferry to Valletta, bus and tourist boat services, all of which are few minutes walk away.

The apartment has been renovated, furnished and equipped to an extremely high standard; we really wanted for nothing,

Pam even thoughtfully provides towels for swimming. There is a safe area for swimming in the harbour within a few hundred metres and various hotel pools which Pam explains how to access.

Overall we cannot recommend this apartment more highly, both in terms of value for money and the actual experience. It could not be bettered.

Amazing view, brilliant location, great host

From the moment we booked Pam was in constant contact with us, making sure we had all the info and help we needed for our trip - in fact I don't think I've ever dealt with a more friendly & responsive host! We were met at the airport by a driver she helped us arrange, he also let us into the apartment, which was really convenient. The highlight was definitely the incredible view from the balcony, you could sit there all day watching all the action in the harbour. Across the road is a rocky swimming beach, or you can get day passes for the pools nearby (we just went into the sea). Location is perfect as it's a short walk to all the shops and restaurants you'd need, and Valletta is just a quick ferry ride away. The apartment itself was lovely and spacious, with plenty of room for 4 adults and our 20 month old son. There was milk and cookies left out for us which was a nice touch. It's not recommended that you drink the tapwater so the filter jug left in the fridge was also very handy, meant we didn't have to rely on buying bottled mineral water. Overall we had a wonderful 2 nights in Sliema, Pam's place was worth every cent and I highly recommend you book this place if it's available!

Beautiful Valetta

Pam was a great host, we never met her but she provided very helpful communication by email and she organised a taxi pick up with Dennis who showed us the apartment and gave us tips on where to go. We had a great holiday and loved the apartment.
