A lovely holiday cottage in beautiful Cushendall
Cushendall was a part of Northern Ireland we hadn’t visited before despite visiting family in Northern Ireland for the last 30 years. The holiday cottage was like a home from home. There were flowers on arrival and milk, bread, tea, coffee. Just what you need after a 10 hour journey.
From the front of the cottage there are sea views and a very short walk(200yards) brings you to the sea front
Glenariff Forest Park was a 10 minute drive away and has walks to suit all ages and abilities. The 8.9km walk we would thoroughly recommend.
Golf at the nine hole Cushendall course was also a hit. Book on line for the best prices.
Port Stewart Srand(an hours drive away) is worth a visit. We think it’s the best beach in Northern Ireland and you can combine it with a meal at Harry’s Shack. (Need to book in high season)
For GOT fans(we’re not) there are plenty of nearby places that have been used as filming locations
All in all a fabulous holiday with accommodation to match
Thanks very much for your detailed review of your visit to Northern Ireland and for your kind comments. You certainly seem to have made the most of your stay, getting out and about to sample what the local area has to offer. I hope you and your family will return to visit again in the future.
Best Regards Patrick.
Lovely holiday home in great location
We loved staying at this comfortable and spacious holiday home. Patrick was very helpful on arrival and we found the fridge already stocked with milk, a loaf and some butter plus tea and coffee nearby which was much appreciated by us. The location of this property is ideal in the heart of the beautiful Glens of Antrim and right on the spectacular Causeway Coastal Route. Cushendall itself is a pretty and friendly little town with quality restaurants and a very good local supermarket. We can't wait to visit Northern Ireland again!

beautiful house with everything you could need in a stunning location.
My husband, 4 children and I had an amazing week in this house. It is a lovely house, very well equipped. There is a lovely back garden for the kids to play or everyone to relax in the evening. The pier which is walking distance provided great fishing. The scenery and views in the area are amazing. It was the perfect base to explore Northern Ireland and we can't wait to visit again.
Thank you very much for you kind comments. I'm glad that you and your family enjoyed the house and the attractions of Cushendall and the Glens of Antrim - especially the fishing! I hope you will come back again soon.

A wonderful home with a wonderful host! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
Patrick’s home was spacious, warm and inviting. Patrick made sure the kitchen and laundry was stocked with enough to get us started and we really appreciate that! He had information for Cushendall and the attractions nearby. Beds and linens were perfect. WiFi worked wonderful. The views were excellent from every side of the house. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

The house is right near the sea. It has a great back garden with a neat clothesline. The furniture is comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. Patrick supplied us with fresh flowers and supplies too. It is the most gracious welcome we have received and much appreciated.
