This modern and comfortable three bedroom holiday home offers luxury accommodation in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. Ord Ban is located in a quiet street in the scenic town of Aviemore, with picturesque views to the Cairngorm Mountains, and is less than a 15 minute walk into the town centre.
The accommodation has been finished to an extremely high standard, with a colour scheme that reflects the Highland palette of hills and heather. Ideal for those seeking peaceful surroundings in which to unwind, Ord Ban is also perfect for those in search of an active holiday, with secure storage for bikes and winter sports equipment.
With the UK’s largest National Park on your doorstep there are a variety of activities on offer, such as skiing, hill walking, wildlife watching, mountain biking and kayaking. Families will love the array of attractions nearby, from osprey watching at Boat of Garten to the Landmark Forest Adventure Park at nearby Carrbridge.

Kitchen/diner: fully fitted modern kitchen with gas hob and oven, dishwasher, washing machine, table with seating for six, kettle, toaster, microwave plus a range of crockery, cutlery, utensils and glassware.
Master bedroom: kingsize bed, bedside cabinets, chest of drawers, built in wardrobes, en suite shower room.
Bedroom 2: double bed, bedside cabinets, built in wardrobe.
Bedroom 3: bunk beds, built in wardrobe.
Family bathroom: bath with overhead shower, WC, wash hand basin.
The holiday home has a fenced back garden, outdoor seating and a patio table, as well as a large lockable shed for storing outdoor equipment.
There is private parking for two cars. One well-behaved dog is welcome, with an additional charge of £25.
No smoking is permitted within the holiday home.
All bed linen, towels, electricity, gas and internet access is included in the price.
Comfortable well equipped house in pleasant quiet location. Ideal for our purposes and we would use this house again.
Lovely house, very spacious and comfortable, Our only criticism would be the cleanliness of the fridge and freezer, also one of the covers on the sofa was worn and ripped which was quite disappointing, that said we would rent this house again.
We spent a week here with our 7 yr old and 4 yr old twins and had a lovely stay. The house was perfect for us; spacious, clean and so well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed- a real home from home. The owners had thought of everything and the kids loved the toys, books and DVDs. Great being able to securely store our bikes in the shed. Found the little play parks nearby and the well stocked Coop was within 10 mins walk. Will definitely rebook here when we return to this area.
Had a great long weekend in Aviemore, staying at Ord Ban. Great location, short walk to nearby shop and great chippy and not much further to central Aviemore. Loads to do for all the family with the Mountain Cafe and the Druie at Rothiemurchus being our favourite eating places.
Had a great long weekend up in Aviemore and the house was perfect for what we were after - enclosed garden so could let the dog out. First time, though, that we've rented a house/cottage/apartment and not had some kind of welcome pack - even a loaf, eggs and milk would have been a nice gesture. House was a bit out of the village but we knew that when we booked but other than that, we enjoyed our stay in Ord Ban and would recommend it to others for the future.
Very good quality modern accommodation, a coupe of issues resolved by the people on the phone who answered promptly. what would be nice would be option to have basic neccessities delivered in advance
From the north: follow signs for Aviemore/B9152. Just after the 30 mph limit signs as you enter the town, turn left into Dougall Drive. Take a right at the mini roundabout and right again at the second. Take the first right into Patterson Road and follow the cul-de-sac to the end. No 19 is on the right.
From the south: leave the A9 following signs for Aviemore/B9152. Drive through Aviemore and turn right into Dougall Drive. Take a right at mini roundabout and right again at the second. Take the first right into Patterson Road and follow the cul-de-sac to the end. You will find No 19 on the right
