This newly refurbished three bedroom cottage is ideally located in the picturesque village of Dornoch, overlooking the Royal Dornoch Golf Course and only a short walk from the beach and village centre.
The cottage offers spacious and comfortable self-catering accommodation in the Scottish Highlands, with an enclosed rear garden and patio. Dornoch is known for its pretty village centre, championship golf course and sandy beach and the village is surrounded by beautiful countryside and coastline. There are excellent restaurants, shops and amenities all within a short walk of the cottage.
The Dornoch Firth, one of Scotland's National Scenic Areas, is home to an amazing variety of flora and fauna.
Accommodation & Facilities
Lounge: two sofas, armchair, bookcase, nest of table, TV and DVD player, books and games.
Dining room: table and six chairs, console table.
Kitchen: well-equipped with electric cooker and oven, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, pots and pans, utensils, microwave, breakfast table with seating for four.
Utility room: dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, selection of dinnerware and cutlery.
Master bedroom: double bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers, built in wardrobe, en-suite with WC, washbasin and shower.
Bedroom 2: can be twin or double with zip and link beds, bedside tables, chest of drawers, built in wardrobe.
Bedroom 3: single bed with truckle bed, bedside table, chest of drawers.
Family bathroom: electric shower, WC, bath, washbasin, heated towel rail.
The enclosed garden has a patio with table and chairs, and there is private off-street parking at the property. No smoking is permitted within the holiday home.
All bed linen, towels and electricity are included in the price and the property is stocked with a starter supply of kitchen and bathroom supplies.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Sunnybank. The bungalow took a while to warm up but was fine once it did. All wants were catered for and it was very convenient for walking to Dornoch and the beach etc. Would recommend Sunnybank as a great place to stay.
Disappointing that on arrival the beds were not made up and there were no towels.
This was rectified by phoning your office for instructions to gain acccess to the linen cupboard.
Very comfortable everything you could possibly need, ideal position for Golf Beach and Town centre would be happy to stay there again.
Stayed at Sunnybank for 5 days in October 2016 on a golf trip to the Highlands. It was the perfect place as it was only 100 yards to the clubhouse of Royal Dornoch Golf Course and also a short drive to Brora and Golspie where we also played golf. Also, it was only a 2 minute walk to the magical Dornoch village center, Castle, and Cathedral. Sunnybank was exactly as pictured in the photos and very comfortable as well. Had a great collection of golf and whisky books to enjoy while relaxing after our golf rounds. Would absolutely stay there again next time we go to Dornoch!
Sunnybank was the perfect place four our Highlands golf trip. The location was only 100 yards from Royal Dornoch Golf Course, which we played twice. We also played Brora and Golspie golf courses which are located less than 30 minutes away. Sunnybank is clean and comfortable, the beds perfect, and also the golf and whisky books available to read were fantastic! Can't say enough good about it. If we are ever able to get back to the wonderful village of Dornoch, we will stay at Sunnybank!

Internet was spotty for first time in 3 years of renting Sunnybank. had to reboot router several times a day.

Follow the A9 north from Inverness for approximately 35 miles to Tain. Continue on the A9 past Tain and cross the Dornoch Firth Bridge. A couple of miles after the bridge take a right onto the A949 signposted Dornoch. Continue on the A949 for approximately 1 mile until you reach Dornoch. Drive through the village until you reach the central square. At the crossroads at the end of the square turn right and then take the first left into Golf Road. Sunnybank is approximately 300 yards on the right immediately before the bowling green.
