Perfect base

Lovely barn conversion, large and immaculate rooms in a great location just 10 mins from Llanberis and Caernarfon.

Very friendly owners on hand in neighbouring farm.

A wonderful little find

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here in February 2017 with our dog and loved it. It was brilliantly located very close to Llanberis. The property is situated within a working farm but is secluded from the main house so feels very private. The owners could not have been lovelier, they were on hand for anything needed and very welcoming. It was absolutely perfect for the dog and he loved it as there is a nice size fenced in garden around the property that he could trot about in. I would also say that the house looks better inside than the pictures show which is unusual and a pleasant surprise. The house is very clean, well equipped and modern (bathroom and kitchens looked very new) but still managing a cosy feel. All of the rooms were a nice size and it felt very spacious for a 2 bedroom house. There is ample room for parking within the fenced in grounds next to the house too. I would definitely recommend the house to anyone looking to stay in the area and we would certainly like to return for another visit (or several).

Outstanding Barn Conversion

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed a 6 night stay in this wonderful barn conversion. The property is much bigger than the photo's show. It is beautifully clean and well equipped. The welcome pack was much appreciated and Maureen was an excellent and helpful host. We were treated to amazing sunsets over Anglesey almost every evening. We would recommend a visit to Bodnant Gardens, a stunning National Trust property and really enjoyed a tour around Anglesey. This is certainly one to highly recommend. Gill and Steve Adams

Long weekend

  • 5 of 5

Very favourable impression indeed. We booked a long weekend with my sister and her husband and it turned out to be a great choice for us. We couldn't fault the accommodation or the location. So much to do and see in this very Welsh speaking area. Caernarfon and the castle were well worth a visit, as were the llanberis lakeside railway and the national slate museum (the latter of which was fascinating and entirely free of charge). We only wish we could have been there for longer. Andrew and Maureen were very welcoming owners and on our arrival we found a welcome pack of home produced meat products from Bryn Llan Farm.

We would certainly recommend the cottage. Our only regret is our taking so long getting round to doing this review!

Excellent accommodation, immaculately clean.

  • 5 of 5

Fantastic accommodation and owners.

The photographs do not do the cottage justice. The room sizes where far larger than expected. It was all new, spotless, comfortable and well furnished.

The cottage has a fantastic view across to Anglesey from the spacious, bright living room. The interior arrangement is well thought through, with all imaginable utensils for kitchen and entertainment. Great size bedrooms and bathrooms.

In usual reviews you can find one or two tiny negative things to mention but the honest truth with this accommodation is that there are no 'down sides', it really is perfect.

The owners are delightful, nothing it to much trouble and you feel very welcome.

A holiday in North Wales has something for everyone, mountains, castles and beaches offering activity, sightseeing and pure relaxation.

If you are looking for an action packed holiday Snowdonia provides challenging terrain for mountain biking, cycling, rock climbing, scrambling, hiking and the Menai Straits for kayaking and canoeing. Local outdoor centres include Plas Y Brenin and Plas Menai for instruction and guidance

For those seeking less strenuous exercise the North Wales Path and Anglesey Coastal Path offer beautiful walks taking in fantastic sea views, alternatively hire a bike and enjoy the Lon Las or Lon Eifion cycle tracks or enjoy the views from a rowing boat on a quiet lake

If you prefer total relaxation a visit to one of Anglesey's many beautiful beaches may appeal, or experience the breathtaking views on a trip on the Snowdon Mountain Railway or the Welsh Highland Railway or visit the Welsh Mountain Zoo or Anglesey Sea Zoo or explore the historic castles in Caernarfon, Conwy or Beaumaris. For a bit of an adrenaline rush, why not try the longest zip wire experience over the Penrhyn Quarry, or a bounce below ground on the suspended bouncing experience in the largest slate caverns in Llechwedd.

Whilst in the area a visit to quaint villages such as Betws-y-Coed, Beddgelert or Llanberis is a must. Restaurants, cafes and coffee shops are plentiful and cater for all tastes.
