The lounge has both a flat screen TV and a DVD player; we have multi channel international Sky TV providing all major UK channels. The living space is fully air conditioned and comprehensively furnished including reading lamps.
The dining area has a large oak finish table that comfortably seats six adults and forms a convenient focal point for card games and family entertainment. There is plenty of room to draw up a highchair - or even two!

Al fresco dining: Villa Malaika sits in a large landscaped plot and you can enjoy al fresco dining by the pool or by the BBQ, or just simply 'spill out' from the lounge onto the veranda. Then there's the 'Splash Slide'.... we may not have the largest pool you've ever seen, but it's heated and a lot of fun! Adults included!
Master Bedroom: spacious accommodation with king-size bed and built in wardrobes; en-suite bathroom comprises jacuzzi bath and wet room style shower area. French doors open on to 'walk out' balcony with views over the village; fully air conditioned.
Bedroom One: again, specious accommodation with king-size bed and built in wardrobes; en-suite shower room/WC; fully air conditioned. French Doors open on to large sun terrace with retractable sunshade.
Bedroom Two (downstairs): is a large twin bed double bedroom with built in wardrobes and French Doors leading to poolside terrace (allowing easy wheelchair access); fully aire conditioned. Large shower room with WC and restricted mobility aids is immediately next door. The French Doors lend themselves well to wheelchair access.
We also have two full 'Zed Beds' stored under the stairs (and associated linen). The large open plan lounge will easily accommodate both beds, that can simply be folded up and rolled back into the store the next morning; we would suggest ideal for teenagers if necessary!

Philip Crow purchased this villa in 2006
Tala village brims with Cypriot culture throughout it's back streets, all within easy walking distance of the villa.
A very private villa in a cul-de-sac of just seven houses, we have newly landscaped gardens, pool terrace, BBQ terrace and upper level sun terrace (with views over the village to the Mediterranean).
We have owned the villa for almost 10 years, and now want to share our experiences with our guests and clients!

First impressions count and I found Phil absolutely lovely to deal with.
The villa was more than we expected.
The space inside is carefully used with quality furniture. All three bathrooms are of good size and have fantastic shower enclosures with the third bathroom being a fab wet room. We loved the open plan kitchen dining room. The kitchen appliances all good quality and new with an abundance of blenders juicers etc :-)
Poolside was a good size slide was fun for us all we had lots of fun outside. The carport is positioned so the pool is in the shade which is beneficial if you have children in the pool. It was heated pool which was great. The established gardens are beautiful and we enjoyed them.
Very impressed with the equipment avail which included safety gates z bed potty toys jigsaws and board games.
Tala itself is undergoing work so the square itself is difficult to get round but it didn't stop us walking round (even with our pushchair) and we found plenty of great places to eat and drink.
Overall we were very happy with this villa had a lovely peaceful holiday enjoyed the balcony everyday morning and night. Thank you Phil :-)
This is a beautiful villa set in a quiet location just a short 10 minute walk from the square in Tala, which has several great places to eat. The villa was very clean and comfortable and has reliable wi-fi which we’ve always found problematic at other villas we have stayed at. The kitchen is well equipped should you wish to dine in and there is also a large bbq in the garden. The garden looks fabulous at night with colourful lighting. We enjoyed sitting up on the upstairs balcony enjoying the views. It can get very hot on the balcony but the owners have thought about this and there is a fantastic awning which keeps the sun at bay. A fabulous place to just chill out and unwind with a good book and a glass of wine. The pool was warm and we enjoyed a few afternoon splashes. We took our elderly father who was happy there was a bedroom downstairs with a full sized bathroom so everything he could need was on ground floor level. The owner was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. This is a villa which would suit all ages and has all the facilities to keep everyone happy. I have no hesitation in recommending it.
Villa Malaika lived up to its description. An incredible holiday villa. Very quiet location but within walking distance to the village square with tavernas and bars. The house and grounds were immaculate. The interior bright and clean. Very modern and exactly as seen in the photographs. The facilities for disabled guests is a nice touch. Everything about the interior shouts quality! Good sized rooms and well presented. The house was spotlessly clean. No faults whatsoever The maintenance team for the pool and garden were friendly and helpful and the property manager provided us with many options for sightseeing trips.
The garden was a real bonus. Plenty of space to move around. A great BBQ area which is ideal for lazy meals. Pool with water slide which the children enjoyed. Plenty of shaded areas too!
In summary, the villa was a delight. A perfect holiday base for people who require a top class villa. Immaculately presented with lots of extras not normally found in holiday homes. A lot of thought has gone into the villa and it shows. I have no hesitation of recommending the property to anyone who is looking for a top class holiday villa. I will certainly be booking again next year!
A well-equipped , very clean , comfortable villa situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. No noise from neighbours and not overlooked . Lovely to sit on the upstairs balcony in the evening with a glass of wine and watch the sun set. Good sized swimming pool - the slide is fun ! Nice grounds lit in the evening. Enjoyed using the BBQ but ate at several local eateries - recommend the village meze at Melitzia Taverna in Tala Square.. Only a short drive to great beach at Coral Bay . Recommend Oniro by the sea restaurant for a cocktail and good modern food - just a short distance beyond . Definitely need a car although the local bus service to Paphos was cheap and reliable. If you're fit, there's a good walk from the villa up to Saint Neophytos monastery for a cup of coffee at the cafe under the trees. Is was handy having a welcome pack as we arrived late.
Would definitely recommend.
Tala village is about a ten minute, 9km drive from Paphos, and about a thirty minute drive from Paphos airport. It's altitude of about 280m (1,000ft) not only provides stunning views to the coast and Mediterranean beyond, but is just enough to take the edge of the highest levels of coastal humidity in the summer, It has a population of around 6,000 spread across the old 16th century village, and the much more recent post 1960's development. Approximately 50% of present resident are expatriate Europeans with the biggest group coming from the UK.
Tala Village & Square (5 minute walk): there are 4 restaurants, 2 cafe bars, a 'corner shop', post office and small supermarket.
Lower Tala (10 minute walk): there are two restaurants, bank + ATM, pharmacy, delecatessen and a parade of small shops.
