About this property

This newly renovated 750 square foot two bath Bend condo has a queen murphy bed in the great room and also has a large king bedroom, all with new mattresses, it sleeps 4-6.

Enjoy the view of the Deschutes River Valley from the great room with comfy furniture, fireplace and the 2 Smart TVs and Air Conditioning too.

We are only 5 miles from Bend with all it’s restaurants, theaters, concerts and activities for the whole family.

Our onsite pub is open for some drinks, food and music for the whole family along with our free work out room with weights, treadmills and ellipticals.

In summer enjoy the playground, free mini-golf, sand volleyball, basketball courts, tennis courts, bbq’s, picnic areas, Wigi Creek Golf Course, river rafting and disk golf.

From your door you can hike the banks of the Deschutes River for miles. Enjoy the paved bike trail right across the street and ride right into Bend.

Take advantage of the over 277 miles of mt biking trails or head up to Mt Bachelor for some lift served bike trails and parks. Bend was named the Best Mt Biking Town in the country.

We do allow ONE SMALL DOG 25lbs or under.

In winter we are the closest lodging to Mt Bachelor. You can ski, board, cross country, sled, snow mobile, dog sled, skin and back country ski! In winter our resort has an outdoor ice skating rink with skate rentals as well.

Great Location!

Condo as advertised. Closest lodging to Mt. Bachelor yet only 10 min to Bend. Community pools and hot tubs great perk in the winter. Ice skating possible too!

Comfy condo

Condo was nicely renovated. Rained everyday except one so enjoyed comfort of condo very cosy for reading books. Owner of condo was great explained everything and always available very nice.

About the host

Hosted by Bob Trombi

Owners Bob and Sybille Trombi came to the Northwest in 1993. Sybille is from Schweinfurt, Germany, and Bob is from Worcester, Massachusetts, They have 3 children, Benjamin, Liesa and Stefanie. Bob, coming from the mountains of New England, was always an avid skier and hiker. In college, he was a ski instructor and skied every chance he could get. Sybille had the Alps and surrounding mountains in her backyard and her family took many vacations to the beautiful mountains in southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Before moving to the Northwest, Bob and Sybille lived in Oklahoma. When a job opportunity opened up in Tacoma, WA, they were excited.

Why they chose this property

Coming to the Northwest was a great prospect, especially the opportunities for mountain recreation and beachcombing. Every weekend we ventured into new mountain areas and villages. One thing that we noticed was the lack of development and economic depression in some of these small mountain communities brought on by the timber industry and other various factors. We always thought that these areas have all the makings of destination resorts with the natural beauty that surround them.

These are the areas that we as a family have loved to visit and we figured that many other families would too, if there were quality places to stay in. That’s when we bought our first piece of property and built a few years later.

We hope that you and your family enjoy your stay at one of our cabins. Our family certainly has created so many memories in these pristine places of the Great Northwest.
