About Justine Kavak

We are a Turkish/English couple Melih and Justine Kavak who have been married for 20 years and lived in Akyaka for 11 years. We live in Akyaka during the summer and will always be on hand if required to help with local information and anything else you may need. We feel we have the right combination of local knowledge and understanding of what holidaymakers may need to make the most of their holidays in the area. Nothing pleases us more than to see our guests happy and relaxed and enjoying their well deserved break.

Justine Kavak purchased this villa in 2007

Why Justine Kavak chose Turkey

We bought the plot of land Sinjap villa is located on in 2007 and completed the build of the Villa and Grounds in 2013. We were attracted to Yilanlik Village due to the beautiful greenery of the valley and the peace and tranquility of the area. The plot that Sinjap is built on is unique as to three side of the property is forestry and will never be developed also as it is set on a hillside looking down over the valley the views from the villa will always remain the same. This is why we purchased this plot due to its unique position which means it will always remain a peaceful and secluded villa.

What makes this villa unique

Although we highlight the tranquility of the villas location it is only a 5 min drive to local facilities and attractions. The beautiful resort of Akyaka is 12mins drive away and the unique location of the Gokova Valley means that larger resorts of Marmaris, Bodrum and Fethiye are also accessible if you wanted some more excitement. We have found all of our guests have enjoyed either relaxing at the villa or using it as a Haven to return to after exploring the local area.

Wunderbare Ruhe

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful holiday in Sinjap Villa!

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay here, the villa is fully equipped and well maintained, garden and the pool are beautiful! It's located in the woods, yet easy accessible, a few minutes drive from Gokova and Akyaka and surroundings are astonishing! We got everything we needed and the owner was very helpful and prompt every time. Definitively we recommend this accommodation especially for couples and families. Last but not least, Akyaka is one of the best places for kitesurfing as it's always windy (literally)!

Owner's Response: Thank you for your lovely review, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay at Sinjap Villa and enjoyed the pool and gardens. As you mentioned the location of the villa is great for those that want to be surrounded by nature but still have easy access to all the local services and sites. Kitesurfing has really taken off in Akyaka in the last few years and now has a well resourced and accessible kite beach with surfing for beginners to the more experienced. We do so hope you return again to enjoy Sinjap Villa and the Kitesurfing in Gokova.

Real home from home

  • 4 of 5

If you would like a holiday away from it all, this is the place for you. very tranquil setting with views over the valley. Very well appointed house, well thought out and well equipped. Comfortable beds and showers that worked. And your very own guard dog - a real home from home! Justine, the owner, could not have been more helpful and accomodating. Nothing was too much trouble for her. looking forward to going back and exploring some more.

Fabulous rural idyll

  • 5 of 5

Just returned from a great holiday spent at Sinjap villa. We were able to find the villa easily as good directions had been provided by Justine. Villa is even better than the photos on the website and is set in a very rural position with wonderful views of the mountains and valley.Justine has thoughtfully provided plenty of home comforts such as dishwasher, microwave, washing machine,DVD player, etc. The of the villa is very spacious and spotlessly clean and huge windows to take advantage of the amazing views. Outside is a lovely pool and BBQ area with lots of quirky seating areas. There are some lovely walks in the forest immediately from Sinjap with great opportunities to spot local wildlife. Nearest supermarkets are to be found in Akyaka a short car ride away. Lots of restaurants and bars to be found here along with a lovely beach. Amazing fish restaurants along the Azmak river as well. Akyaka is also establishing itself as a major kiteboarding venue as well. Book a has a few shops and cafes for essentials and a weekly market on Saturday which sells all locally grown fruit and vegetables. We have been on a boat trip to Cleopatras Island, trips to Marmaris and also found a great water park about 20 minutes away from the villa. Overall I would definately return to Sinjap and certainly recommend to others. The location, accommodation and activities available all combine to make a wonderful holiday.
