Exmoor is situated in South West Britain, specifically across West Somerset and North Devon. Often referred to as England's best kept secret, Exmoor is a wonderful holiday destination for anyone looking for a holiday in the great outdoors! There's so much to see and do, from short walks to long expeditions across the moors or horse riding, taking in a safari or sight-seeing at your own pace around the 'picture postcard' villages and hamlets.
The Granary is situated on the outskirts of the pretty village of Luxborough. The Royal Oak Inn serves drinks and good food, approx 1 mile away. Wheddon Cross (approx 5 miles) has a newly refurbished mini-supermarket, Post Office facilities and petrol station with good opening times. Roadwater is also has a local shop and pub which serves food. Dunster is also approx 4 miles, but in the other direction, this wonderful medieval village is really worth a visit, it has lots of shops, restaurants, tea rooms and a village shop. Minehead is the nearest town, approximately 7 miles away. Here you will find the larger supermarkets and petrol stations (Tesco and Morrisons are both situated on the outskirts of the town and have longer opening hours), most major high street banks with cash machines, plus a range of other shops throughout the town.
Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation. Bed linen and towels are provided.
