I have enjoyed my second home at the Reims for three years, and would love to share the experience with you. Actress, Singer, Producer, and Philanthropist, my life is dedicated to history and celebration of cultural exchange. The apt. is called the "La Voie Vivante" and part of my PATTON HOUSE series which includes Normandy and Sweden. Veterans, active duty, and first responders are given special rates. Just ask!
Why this property? Because it is situated right where you need to be to know you are in Reims! I have tried to give the place a personal touch with my own military family heritage and although I am often on the road, I would love to welcome you personally if I can. So, why spend the same money for a generic hotel when you can stay in THE prime property of the city. And why suffer the hassle of Paris when you can live in Reims!
Location, comfort, and convenience is everything! Convenient to Charles DeGaulle Airpoirt, Paris Center, and Calais. Personal Attention. Part of the proceeds will help WW1 and 2 memorials across Europe including The 101st Airborne Museum in Bastogne Belgium (gratis entry for all my guests!)
This place was a huge contributor to our great Reims trip. Beautiful decor, lots of space, a big kitchen and really clean. We where also lucky enough to try some of the Patton champagne and chocolates, which where both delicious! Thank you Helen! We can't wait to come back and stay at this place.
A truly wonderful experience - from booking to departure. Helen was wonderful in communicating and planning our visit, and Laurent was fabulous and helpful during our stay. The apartment is a wonderful, large, luxurious home away from home just steps from the Reims Cathedral. In fact, there is an amazing view of the Cathedral from the large kitchen! Everything in the apartment lends itself to a wonderful and luxurious experience - every need accounted. Highly recommended and will definitely try to book again when headed to Reims and the Champagne region.
Beautiful apartment with an amazing view of the cathedral. Very comfortable with all the amenities of home. I would definitely stay here again.
We are so happy that we chose to stay at this property in Reims. First of all, the owner, Ms. Patton, was very accommodating and kind. We had a little difficulty navigating through Reims, so one of the caretakers helped guide us on his motorbike. Upon arrival, we were immediately impressed by the beautifully appointed apartment, which was luxurious ( robes, comfortable bedding, a kitchen I would love to have in my own home) and spotlessly clean. We didn't immediately get the connection, but later we understood why the apartment was full of amazing memoriiabilia of General Patton, which was exciting since we had just arrived from Normandy. Another outstanding feature of the property was thart It was located right next door to the cathedral, so each night we were able to sit in the kitchen and watch the cathedral light show out the window. It was truly amazing to see. This property was absolutely perfect in every way and it truly enhanced our wonderful time in Reims.
We loved staying in Helen's apartment so close to the beautiful cathedral, only a few minutes walk away. We felt completely comfortable, and the facilities were excellent. One needs to take considerable time to take in just some of the amazing WW2 military history that is assembled in this lovely home. In making arrangements for the visit Helen was so responsive and though sadly we didn't get to meet her, was a wonderful host. We would love to go back.
The location is remarkable, the accommodations are beyond expectation and the hospitality unbelievable. We really felt like residents of Reims while staying there and were lucky enough to be shown many historic and little known treasures of the region. We are already planning our next trip to Reims. Helen is the quintessential hostess.
