Hope Cottage, a modernised 1750's cotswold cottage in the centre of Woodstock

Upstairs, Hope Cottage has two bedrooms, one with a King size double bed and the other with two single beds. A full size family bathroom with a bath and shower.
Downstairs. a lounge with TV and a selection of DVD's, a separate dining area for 4 people and a fitted kitchen. (including a dishwasher, fridge etc.)
Outside, a small private courtyard gives you an area to relax and have a drink or meal in the fresh air. (weather permitting!)

Lovely cottage

Lovely cottage, very clean & well equipped. Handy, free parking just around the corner. Very convenient for shops, pubs, cafes etc in Woodstock. It was lovely to have Blenheim Palace on the doorstep, convert your entrance ticket to a yearly pass and there are lots of lovely walks in the grounds. It was good to meet the owner Allan on arrival, nice personal touch and he gave us lots of useful local information. Many thanks for the wine, beer & eggs. If you enjoy Indian food Daba restaurant & takeaway is really good. We also liked Brothertons Brassiere & Blenheim Buttery. It was lovely to sit in the sunny courtyard at the rear of the property for breakfast & teatime drinks, very peaceful.

Hope Cottage

We had a wonderful holiday staying in Hope Cottage. It is a very well presented and clean cottage in a wonderful location. It is ideal for exploring Woodstock on foot, wonderful walks and cycle routes too. There is no direct parking at the property but a free car park around the corner. It was lovely to be met by Allan ( the owner) who left us some fresh eggs from his chickens and some refreshments for adults and children alike, very thoughtful. Would thoroughly recommend this property for a great break . 😊

Woodstock cottage

A great place to stay. The cottage is lovely and had everything we needed. Allan the host was very helpful, left wine and eggs for us which was a really nice touch.
