About Pam McKee
We are a retired couple who live in Formby , Merseyside but spend a fair amount of time at the cottage and are delighted to share it with our guests. It's a great base for exploring towns such as Much Wenlock, Shrewsbury, Ludlow and further afield into the Welsh Marches. We enjoying local walks with beautiful scenery and pub lunches from a range of options !
Pam McKee purchased this Cottage in 2009
Why Pam McKee chose Church Stretton
We have been fond of the area for many years .Feel that it is still undiscovered and unspoilt and has enough to interest us all the year round from National Trust properties to walks on the Mynd and winberry picking on the Stipperstones in the summer. Church Stretton just 3 miles away offers a good selection of shops for our needs and the pub just across the way from the cottage is friendly and does great food.
What makes this Cottage unique

Lovely character cottage in a beautiful area of Shropshire.
This is a gorgeous cosy cottage with all the home comforts you need. In a very convenient location for visiting Ludlow, Church Stretton and Shrewsbury. Great for walkers. At the back of the cottage there is a private patio area which is a real sun-trap.
The local pub, two minutes walk away, is great for sampling high quality local food. In fact, there are lots of places in this area which serve excellent food. The cottage is ideal for couples, and is good value.
Thank you. Wed love you to visit again.
Excellent accomodation in a great part of the world
The accomodation was very good- comfortable, all aspects thought of and in a good location. The Station Inn about 50 yards away was a complete surprise- fantastic food and service (you MUST try the Butchers night on each Friday if you re staying and like meat of course!). Shropshire is a bit of a secret county- great towns (Shrewsbury and Ludlow were the main ones we visited, but I'm sure there are more great places to visit), lots of history, great architecture, great food and drink and all very scenic! We will be back!!
Thank you. We are so happy you enjoyed your stay. Do visit again.
We really enjoyed the peace and tranquility. The cottage was well equipped and cosy.
We had some beautiful walks and the Railway Tavern was very handy and the steak was to die for. We wanted for nothing as far as equipment in the cottage was concerned. A very relaxing break.
Thank you for staying at Quinney View. I am so glad you had a good stay. Please do come back,!
Our short break in the ex railway cottage
A comfortable, cosy and very well equipped cottage only a very short drive to many wonderful walks. It was nice to find a self catering cottage that we could book for only 2 nights as we only had time for a short break, and were able to take our Yorkshire terrier as well making it even more attractive.
Thanks for choosing us!
Do come back.
Cosy cottage in fab location
Cottage was great - cosy, clean, homely, well equipped and in the perfect location for us to explore this beautiful part of the world. Weather wasn't great so we couldn't really appreciate the conservatory but I'm sure it's an brilliant added bonus when the sun comes out. Another great thing about the location is the pub across the road - The Station - which serves fab food and beer with a smile and no one has to drive home after a drink. We really enjoyed our stay, thanks.
Glad you enjoyed your stay. Come back soon!
